0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bill Lee! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Sandusky counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign! Sandusky postures up.
Sandusky trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sandusky scoring with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sandusky is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Sandusky stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee being controlled here, momentarily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sandusky thinks about countering with a head kick. Lee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sandusky definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Sandusky feints and as Lee raises his hands in defense, Sandusky changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sandusky controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Sandusky stands up and waves to Lee to follow him. Sandusky fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lee sprawls well initially but Sandusky persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Well, if Sandusky is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sandusky connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple. Sandusky keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Sandusky seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lee for as long as he can get away with. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Lee is trying to stand up here but Sandusky is controlling him well.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Lee throws a leg kick and Sandusky counters with a nice leg kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lee is defended easily by Sandusky. Sandusky tries to counter by clinching up but Lee breaks away and moves out of range. Sandusky shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lee manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lee enables Sandusky to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Sandusky lands a couple of digs. Sandusky decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lee, up you get! Lee thows a leg kick but Sandusky checks it so Sandusky counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sandusky is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sandusky's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hug throws a series of punches but Langerholc avoids them all with ease. Langerholc closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hug did well to prevent Langerholc getting side control. Langerholc stops Hug from getting back to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anstey throws a head kick but Söderlund moves out of range.
Anstey feints and then cracks Söderlund's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Söderlund down. A shot to the liver by Anstey. Beautiful body shot. Anstey lunges at Söderlund with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Söderlund's hand. Anstey closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Anstey just misses with a punch to the body.
Söderlund tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Anstey tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Anstey feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Anstey unleashes a big counter combination but Söderlund bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Excellent takedown into side control there by Anstey. Söderlund struggling a bit here.
