Jaromir Jag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooh!!! Pitung has knocked Jag down with a huge combo! Pitung steps away and waves a wobbly Jag back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Vladik Fedotov had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Anderson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Malaki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Malaki tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Anderson was well out of range. Poor timing from Malaki.
Anderson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Anderson.

Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Malaki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Anderson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Malaki bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anderson's guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Malaki lands a couple of decent looking shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Anderson, as that shot connected.
