The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bueller scores with a sloppy right hand. Timebmb should have avoided that one.
It looks like Jukebox Timebmb has been cut. Timebmb scores with a takedown into Bueller's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Timebmb drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Timebmb jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Timebmb is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Timebmb slips nicely into half guard. Timebmb is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Timebmb is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bueller wants to get back to full guard. Timebmb is looking for a kimura here.

Timebmb postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bueller is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Powers with that takedown attempt. As Powers looks to move away, Kong throws a big counter combo but Powers just gets out of the way. We've been told by Kong's head coaches at 3Band MMA ($500/week) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kong is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. A decent looking body kick lands there for Kong. Kong bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Powers's head. Powers gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kong thuds his shin into the meat of Powers's side. Kong leaves Powers with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Brandon Powers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No joy there for Kong, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Powers misses with a wild combination.
Powers looks to clinch and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kong looks to land a combination. Powers sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Powers fails with the takedown and Kong makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Krom Kong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Powers. Powers shoots and misses and Kong counters with a crisp one two that drops Powers! Kong thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Powers to his feet! Powers is in big trouble!
Powers is rocked! Powers looks winded! A chopping leg kick lands by Kong. Powers is still on wobbly legs! Can Kong finish him? Powers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kong tries to avoid it but Powers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kong to the ground. Kong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kong explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Kong connects with an inside leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Powers takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Powers stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kong. Kong lands a leg kick that knocks Powers off balance momentarily. Kong gets in close and tags Powers with a short punch that almost sends Powers to the mat! Oh Powers is in big trouble! He turns his back on Kong, trying to create some distance but Kong rushes him, striking wildly and Powers goes down! The referee tackles Kong into the cage to end the fight! Kong is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Krom Kong! Krom Kong decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDonald moves into range and clinches up with Sharp. A nice right hand lands inside from McDonald. McDonald throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sharps head. A short right hand to the side of the head by McDonald. McDonald wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. McDonald has a couple of punches blocked by Sharp.
McDonald gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sharp.
Sharp softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Sharp blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sharp has picked McDonald up - he's going for a ride! Sharp dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Sharp passes to side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sharp wants to control but McDonald is keeping him busy. Sharp is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McDonald has escaped the position, nice work there.

I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. McDonald tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sharp wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The referee asks Sharp politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Sharp prefers to stall for the moment though. McDonald wants to control but Sharp postures up. McDonald is trying to improve his position. McDonald is trying to control Sharp's posture but Sharp avoids it.

Sharp is trying to move to mount but McDonald reverses beautifully and ends up in Sharp's guard. McDonald with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. McDonald postures up in Sharp's guard and throws a big left but Sharp blocks it. Sharp is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. McDonald throws a big elbow that misses. Sharp is adopting a defensive guard. McDonald's corner is telling him to maintain position. McDonald throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sharp works some decent striking defense from the bottom. McDonald is looking to work some ground and pound but Sharp has wrist control. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. The crowd cheers as McDonald lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sharp doesn't seem phased though. Sharp bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. McDonald has his takedown stuffed and Sharp makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. He's hooked one of McDonald's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McDonald's back! Sharp trying to control. Sharp thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. We've been hearing reports that Allen has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Allen takes a shot right to the bread basket. Allen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jackson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jackson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Allen moves out of range as Jackson strikes. Some wild striking there from Jackson.

Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Heath missing with a left hand there. Gruber was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Heath thumps Gruber with a low kick. An inside leg kick lands from Heath. Gruber is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Heath. Heath flicks out a counter leg kick but Gruber steps away. A good leg kick by Heath. Heath connects with a solid leg kick. Gruber chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Heath can pounce on him.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Heath slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Gruber fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Heath lands with a slapping head kick. Heath defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gruber. Heath uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gruber has time to react. Heath lands with a kick to the ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Heath scores with a spinning back kick! Gruber takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hans Gruber's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Heath, as that shot connected.
Heath fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A kick lands to the mid section there for Heath. A nice leg kick lands there from Heath. Gruber tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Heath scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Heath throws a nice inside leg kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pepper lands a nice leg kick that just misses Simmons's sensitive parts. Pepper looks to throw the jab but Simmons is out of range. Pepper gets a clinch. Pepper lands a nice uppercut. Pepper is leaning against Simmons and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Pepper gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Simmons.
Simmons blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Pepper just leaning against Simmons, taking a breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pepper has Simmons pressed against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolf tries to move into range but Wiggin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Wiggin misses the shot to the body. Wiggin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wiggin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Wiggin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
