The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wright misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wright throws a head kick but Biernat moves out of range.
Decent striking displayed by Wright there. Wright closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wright tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Biernat is looking to regain half guard here but Wright keeps moving and retains side control. Wright is looking for the big counter here. Biernat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Wright throws a right and a left that both miss. As Wright looks to move away, Biernat throws a big counter combo but Wright just gets out of the way. Biernat shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wright's guard. Wright manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Biernat has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Wright regains guard immediately. Biernat is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wright is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wright has escaped and now he's on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Biernat escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wright gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Biernat is looking for a triangle but Wright pushes his legs off easily.
Biernat is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wright defends well. Biernat has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Wright should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Biernat has tightened it up now! Wright should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Hooch as he connects with a hook. Sotin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hooch cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Sotin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Hooch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sotin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sotin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hooch works Sotin's body with a nice hook. Hooch misses with a body kick. Sotin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sotin clinches up with Hooch and pushes him back against the cage. Hooch avoiding damage as Sotin throws knees to the body.

Hooch throws a sloppy head kick and Sotin moves out of range easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hooch instigates a clinch. Sotin is stalling here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sackett throws a hook but Cage avoids it easily. We've been told by Cage's head coaches at Russian Fighting Community Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Sackett throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Cage is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Cage chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sackett can pounce on him.
Cage checks a leg kick. Sackett misses with a hook. Cage ducked under it nicely. Cage appears to be looking for a big counter. Cage avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sackett throws a hook to the side of Cage's head but Cage sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cage throws a big counter combination but Sackett scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Sackett moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Johnny Cage has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cage takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Sackett has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Cage is landing a low percentage of strikes. Sackett lets loose with a powerful body kick. Cage will feel that in the morning. Both fighters circling a little - Sackett finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Oh Cage is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cage get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Cage stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Sackett runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rautio keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Batista wants to clinch but Rautio slips to the side and Rautio counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Rautio with a hook. Rautio blocks a leg kick. Rautio thows a body kick. Batista tries to catch it but that hurt him. Rautio cracks Batista with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McPetteri fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Castillo is out of range. McPetteri thows a leg kick but Castillo checks it and McPetteri takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Castillo moves out of range as McPetteri throws a body kick.
As McPetteri backs away, Castillo returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Castillo scores with a kick to the body.
McPetteri misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Castillo checks a low kick from McPetteri. A decent looking body kick lands there for Castillo. McPetteri looks winded! Castillo connects with a body shot. Castillo moves into range and clinches up with McPetteri. Castillo struggles to land a body shot inside as McPetteri controls his hands.

Castillo lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of McPetteri backwards. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Castillo unloads a knee to the mid-section. A nice glancing elbow lands by Castillo. A knee to the head by Castillo.
McPetteri is rocked! Castillo unloads a knee to the mid-section. McPetteri lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. McPetteri is still on wobbly legs! Can Castillo finish him? Castillo lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops McPetteri to his knees! Castillo keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
