The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rautio keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Batista wants to clinch but Rautio slips to the side
and Rautio counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Rautio thows a body kick. Batista tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Rautio cracks Batista with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rautio has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Batista to stand back up!
We've been hearing reports that Batista has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
