Maximus takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Walter White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

White connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
White misses with a looping left.
Maximus shoots and misses
and White counters with a straight right hand.
White lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
White scores with a jab to the body.

White gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maximus not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Maximus got a little sloppy there for a moment and White has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Maximus has managed to get both his arms back between White's legs - danger averted.
Maximus content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Maximus postures up and lands a big shot to White's brow.
Maximus keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of White's head.

Maximus seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but White does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Briscoe gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Packalen counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Briscoe wants to get back to his feet but Packalen passes into half guard.

Packalen wants to work for an arm triangle but Briscoe is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Briscoe tries to kick Packalen off but Packalen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Packalen perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Packalen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Briscoe is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Packalen pulls his head out easily.
Briscoe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Briscoe is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Packalen has latched onto it... Big trouble! Packalen pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Briscoe is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Packalen!
