7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joey The Lion! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Lion shoots in but no luck this time. Boy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. The Lion was covering up waiting for the punch and Boy finishes the takedown easily into guard. The Lion has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The Lion looking for a guillotine here but Boy defends easily.
Boy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Lion on the ground. Boy stands and steps away. The Lion gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Boy drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The Lion is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Boy defends well. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Boy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The Lion taking a bit of punishment here - Boy scoring with strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boy is putting a hurting on The Lion here, landing some big shots from side control. You can see the frustration on The Lion's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masuyo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Angel but Angel pushes him off and we're back to square one. Angel clinches. Angel gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Masuyo.
Angel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Angel looks for the body kick but Masuyo saw that one coming. Masuyo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Masuyo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Angel is fending him off so far but Masuyo persists. Nope, Angel circles away and we're back to standing. Uriel Angel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaori Masuyo. Masuyo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Masuyo. Masuyo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Angel's waist but Angel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Masuyo off to one side. Angel cracks Masuyo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Angel shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Masuyo napping and manages to drive through into side control! Masuyo looks gassed! Angel controls the position. Angel has knee on belly and moves into mount. Angel takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Angel controls Masuyo momentarily but Masuyo frees himself. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Masuyo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Masuyo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Angel holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Angel tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Masuyo has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Angel is trying to keep an underhook but Masuyo manages to get the takedown into half guard. Angel is trying to stand back up but Masuyo is controlling him

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Atarashii connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Atarashii scores with a jab. Nakata acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Atarashii lands a nice shot that snaps Nakata's head back.
Atarashii lands with a right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nakata tries to clinch but Atarashii is having none of it. A left lands for Atarashii. A shot to de liver by Atarashii. Beautiful body shot. Atarashii digs a good hook to Nakata's body.
Atarashii cracks Nakata with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. It's a brutal combination of punches from Atarashii! Nakata is backing up but he can't get away as Atarashii lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Nakata and ends the fight. Great knockout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flores stuffs the takedown attempt from Doji. Doji gets slowly back to his feet. Flores lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Awekome Doji has been cut. Flores pushes Doji up against the ropes in a clinch. Doji is working for takedown but Flores is calmly controlling the position for now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Doji working hard to break the clinch. Flores gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Doji regains guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Those have got to be taking their toll on Martin's gas tank. Kimura throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Martins head. A short body shot lands from Kimura as the two fighters clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacobsen misses with an attempted mid kick.
Satoru changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jacobsen tries to avoid it but Satoru manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jacobsen to the ground. Jacobsen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Satoru gets the takedown into side control. Satoru is trying to get an arm triangle but Jacobsen is defending well. Satoru keeping moving, preventing Jacobsen from controlling successfully. Satoru has his foot on Jacobsen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Satoru misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jacobsen. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jacobsen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Satoru has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Satoru and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Satoru shoots and misses and Jacobsen counters with a flying knee. Nice. Jacobsen throws a nice looking combination but Satoru bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Satoru swinging wildly here.

Jacobsen tries to lock up and control but Satoru gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Jacobsen takes a little break here. Satoru wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Jacobsen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jacobsen throws an elbow but Satoru slips to the side and avoids it well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akyat on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Nice cross by Ikeda. Ikeda scores with the left hand. Akyat knows he should have avoided that one. Ikeda scores with a jab to the jaw. This has been an exciting period of action! Ikeda lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Akyat takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Akyat takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ikeda throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A looping hook to the body misses from Ikeda. Akyat does a little dance to reset his feet. Ikeda throws a series of punches but Akyat moves out of range. Akyat showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ikeda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uzamaki keeps Laborina at a distance using the push kick. Uzamaki avoids a kick to the body.
Laborina throws a shot from downtown. Uzamaki moves away and avoids it. Uzamaki throws a quick inside leg kick. Laborina is looking to clinch. Laborina fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Uzamaki checks it well. Laborina throws a nice inside leg kick. Uzamaki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Laborina shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Uzamaki lands a two punch combo.
Laborina connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Laborina crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Uzamaki - the referee stops the clock and Laborina gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Uzamaki. Laborina manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Uzamaki steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Laborina. Laborina avoids the head kick by Uzamaki.
