Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wang Zhang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Richard Ramirez! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zhang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ramirez slaps away a takedown attempt from Zhang, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ramirez instigates a clinch. Ramirez tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Zhang breaks from the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Zhang. Zhang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Zhang keeps the fight on the outside. Ramirez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Zhang misses with a double jab.
Zhang tries to clinch up but Ramirez circles away and keeps his distance.
Ramirez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Zhang was covering up waiting for the punch and Ramirez finishes the takedown easily into guard. Ramirez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ramirez throwing strikes from guard but Zhang blocks nicely. Ramirez trying to control but Zhang is working from the bottom. Zhang has momentary wrist control but Ramirez slips an elbow through the middle. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Zhang is working an open guard so Ramirez takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Zhang darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Zhang is breathing heavily. Ramirez pushes Zhang off looking to stand but Zhang dives back in and keeps control.
Zhang wants to control but Ramirez is keeping him busy. Ramirez is trying to stand back up but Zhang is controlling him
Ramirez won't allow Zhang to pass to mount.
Zhang is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ramirez defends it well.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Zhang trying to pass the guard but Ramirez defending well. Zhang is looking to take a break and control but Ramirez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ramirez pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Zhang shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramirez is not content to let Zhang control the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ramirez tries to roll over but Zhang keeps him under control.
Zhang is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Zhang is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Ramirez reverses the position - he's now on top in Zhang's guard.
Zhang is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ramirez defends well. Ramirez preventing the sweep. Ramirez throwing strikes from guard but Zhang blocks nicely. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Richard Ramirez will probably get the nod. That's time! Zhang's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A shot to de liver by Zhang. Beautiful body shot. Zhang lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ramirez moves in looking to clinch but Zhang pushes him off. Zhang misses with a low kick. Ramirez moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Ramirez misses with a straight right. Ramirez throws a shot from downtown. Zhang moves away and avoids it. A head kick by Zhang misses and Ramirez counters with a head kick. That will keep Zhang thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Zhang. Zhang tries to move to full mount but Ramirez actually manages to regain half guard. Zhang stalling away here and it's allowed Ramirez to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Zhang looking to pass the guard. Zhang looking to sit in guard and control but Ramirez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Zhang controlling Ramirez's posture. Zhang tries to land a sweep but no joy.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ramirez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Zhang seems keen to control Ramirez's posture. Ramirez preventing the sweep. Zhang trying to control the position.
Zhang keeping moving, preventing Ramirez from controlling successfully. Zhang manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ramirez manages to get himself to full guard.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Zhang trying to control but Ramirez is working from the bottom. Zhang wants to pass the guard but Ramirez is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zhang slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Zhang goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ramirez rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Zhang's guard! Nice work there by Ramirez! Zhang wants to sweep but no luck.
Zhang uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Zhang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Zhang thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ramirez if he has to take too many more of those.
Zhang throws a head kick that misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Zhang looks like he's thinking about clinching though. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Wang Zhang dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Ramirez takes an elbow to the forehead. Zhang tries to land knees in the clinch but Ramirez avoids the damage to the body. Ramirez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Zhang tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Ramirez has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Zhang uses from the top position. Zhang stopping the sweep attempt from Ramirez. Zhangis looking to pass into half guard but Ramirez pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Ramirez is in guard. Ramirez lands a couple of elbows.

Zhang escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ramirez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ramirez trying to stand up but can't free himself from Zhang's guard. Ramirez wants to control from the top but Zhang keeps moving. Zhang avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ramirez working some strikes from top position.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Zhang throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ramirez counters with a slapping leg kick. Zhang misses with a head kick.

Wang Zhang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ramirez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zhang swats him away and circles back towards the center. Zhang fails to land with a series of punches.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. A head kick misses from Zhang. Ramirez avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A head kick misses from Ramirez. Zhang closes the distance and clinches up with Ramirez, looking for a takedown. Zhang pushes Ramirez against the cage but Ramirez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ramirez throws a nice head kick!

Ramirez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Zhang is looking for a sweep. Ramirez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Zhang trying to control but Ramirez postures up.

Ramirez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ramirez is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramirez sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Zhang defending well though. Zhang is looking to control Ramirez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zhang avoid being mounted?
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Zhang throws a right and a left that both miss. Ramirez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zhang swats him away and circles back towards the center. Zhang misses with a jab, cross combination.
Zhang throws the kick towards the body but Ramirez avoids it. Wang Zhang is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Zhang turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Good exchange - Zhang coming out on top. Zhang misses with a head kick.
Zhang throws a head kick that misses. Zhang connects with a crisp jab. Zhang swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ramirez shoots in but Zhang avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ramirez shoots for a double leg takedown but Zhang sprawls well. He's pushed Ramirez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ramirez lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. The fight stays on the outside here - Ramirez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Horrible takedown by Zhang or perhaps it was just good defense by Ramirez which made him look bad. Ramirez tries to clinch but Zhang is having none of it.
Zhang clinches. Zhang makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Zhang misses with a knee strike.
Zhang using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ramirez has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Ramirez tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Ramirez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ramirez throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Ramirez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Zhang circles away from the clinch attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Zhang fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ramirez, pushing him back against the cage. Zhang scores with a knee to the head.

And that's the end of the fight! Richard Ramirez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ramirez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richards Jr misses with a head kick.
Lancaster catches Richards Jr with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Richards Jr fails with a takedown attempt. Nice takedown defense from Lancaster. No joy for Richards Jr on that attempt. Lancaster fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Richards Jr on the side of the head. Richards Jr misses with a hook. Lancaster ducked under it nicely.
Lancaster changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Richards Jr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lancaster cracks Richards Jr with an elbow. That is naaassty.
 Richards Jr is rocked! Lancaster is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Richards Jr tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lancaster wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Check out the look on Lancaster's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Lancaster tries to move to mount but Richards Jr blocks the move with his legs. Lancaster remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Check out the look on Lancaster's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

That was a close round but I would say that Tony Castro will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left and a right from Kemp both land. Nice combination. Kemp looks to land a combination but Fong avoids it well. Fong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kemp paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fong delivers a nice body kick. Fong slips a jab and a cross from Kemp.
Kemp throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kemp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fong clinches up against the cage. Kemp tries to break the clinch but Fong is controlling the position. Knees in the clinch landing for Fong.
Kemp looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Kemp avoiding damage as Fong throws knees to the body.
Fong putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Kemp in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Fong lands an elbow inside that Kemp shrugs off.
 It looks like Gary Kemp has been cut. Fong comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Fong connects with a nasty looking knee right to Kemp's face.
Fong working the clinch nicely. Kemp is working for position but Fong cracks him with a big knee to the head! Kemp crumples up against the cage and Fong lands two more shots before the ref can save Kemp! This one is all over!

Scotty McGruber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McGruber lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McGruber rushes Larson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. McGruber is trying to force a seperation but Larson has the dominant position. McGruber is trying to break the clinch but Larson is controlling him.

McGruber throws a strike aimed at the side of Larson's head but Larson avoids it well. McGruber landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.  Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. McGruber tries to close the distance and clinch up but Larson swats him away and circles back towards the center. McGruber lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Larson circles away quickly and effectively.
