Gleeson drops Hedes with a beautiful combination! Hedes stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gleeson is looking for the KO!
It looks like John Hedes has been cut. Gleeson lands a hook that stumbles Hedes back into the cage. Gleeson follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Hedes to the canvas! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paunovic scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Paunovic throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Paunovic throws a body shot but no joy. Lestrange tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Paunovic misses with an attempted mid kick.

Paunovic instigates a clinch. Lestrange is trying to break the clinch but Paunovic has him pressed against the cage. Paunovic lands a shot to the body. Paunovic makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Paunovic doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Lestrange changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Paunovic fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Paunovic swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Lestrange falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Paunovic wins by TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body kick there by Aloisio. Aloisio lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Aloisio missing with a left hand there. Green was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Aloisio misses with a leg kick. A kick lands to the mid section there for Aloisio. Aloisio scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Green counters with a takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Aloisio is trying to get back to half guard. Aloisio tries to control but Green manages to take his back. Aloisio rolls, trying to escape but Green keeps control of the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Green is on top in guard.

Aloisio controlling the position for now. Aloisio is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Green's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Green's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aloisio wants to control but Green manages to buck him off and is now in Aloisio's guard! Nice work there by Green! Aloisio looking for a sweep. Not yet Aloisio, not yet. Aloisio is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Aloisio wants to get back to his feet but Green is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Green stands up from guard. Let's bang! Aloisio fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Aloisio throws the left hand but Green avoids the punch easily. Aloisio misses with a leg kick and Green counters with a series of strikes. Aloisio will be more careful next time no doubt. Aloisio tries to land a leg kick but Green saw it coming and moves away.

Green fails to land the takedown. Afonso Aloisio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alonzo Green. Aloisio feints and then cracks Green's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Green down. Aloisio throws a right and a left that both miss. Green misses with a takedown attempt - Aloisio sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Green throws a low kick, looking for Aloisio's leg but Aloisio calmly moves out of range. Green avoids the head kick by Aloisio.
Green throws a front kick aimed at Aloisio's knee but Aloisio avoids it well. Aloisio lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Aloisio fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Green has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green checks a leg kick. Aloisio connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Aloisio's corner calls for a 1-2. Aloisio obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. A decent looking body kick lands there for Aloisio. Aloisio buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Aloisio pivots, looking for a leg kick but Green is out of range and Aloisio settles back down. A good leg kick by Aloisio. Aloisio throws a shot from downtown. Green moves away and avoids it. Aloisio throws a leg kick but Green sees it coming and checks it nicely. Green changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Green tries for a takedown but Aloisio circles away easily and Aloisio counters with a nice uppercut. Aloisio lands a nice hook to Green's body. Green takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Green checks the leg kick nicely there.

Afonso Aloisio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aloisio misses with a low kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aloisio waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Green. Green looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Aloisio.
Green wants to clinch and Aloisio counters with a lovely straight right hand! A head kick misses from Aloisio. A cross from Aloisio lands. Green takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crunch! Aloisio slams his shin into Green's torso. Aloisio has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Green takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Aloisio scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Green doesn't seem bothered though. Green lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

That's one minute gone in the round. A big left from Aloisio misses. Aloisio slaps away a takedown attempt from Green, before circling back to the center of the mat. Green's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. A slapping body kick lands there for Aloisio. Green shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aloisio but Aloisio pushes him off and we're back to square one. Aloisio half committed to a counter leg kick. Afonso Aloisio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alonzo Green. Aloisio tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Despite the aggression on Green's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Aloisio is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Green can do to turn this around? Green shoots in looking for a takedown. Aloisio tries to sprawl out of it but Green keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Aloisio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Green avoids a kick to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Aloisio lands a nice looking kick to the body. Green takes a step back to recover. A nice inside leg kick there by Aloisio. That's going to slow Green down. Green is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A bone on bone clash there as Aloisio blocks the leg kick.
Aloisio looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Aloisio. Aloisio throws a nice outside leg kick. Green fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Aloisio to the ground. Green is now in Aloisio's guard. Aloisio has his feet on Green's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Aloisio misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Aloisio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Green manages to avoid it. Aloisio thows a body kick. Green tries to catch it but that hurt him. A solid body kick from Aloisio. Green tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Aloisio defends well and Green ends up having to push Aloisio into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A leg kick checked by Green. Afonso Aloisio is winning the standup battle so far. Aloisio loads up on a big right hand but Green slips the punch. Aloisio lands a high kick!

Alonzo Green is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Green shoots in looking for a takedown but Aloisio manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Green's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Aloisio appears to be looking for a big counter. Green avoids the head kick by Aloisio.
Green wants to counter the offense by Aloisio and move into the clinch position. Aloisio thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Green if he has to take too many more of those.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A decent looking body kick lands there for Aloisio. Aloisio lands with an overhand left. Green pushes Aloisio up against the cage in a clinch. Aloisio is trying to force a seperation but Green has the dominant position. Green is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Aloisio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Aloisio moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Green shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Aloisio sprawls well. Aloisio wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Green gets slowly back to his feet. Aloisio misses with a body kick. Green closes the distance and clinches. Aloisio is trying to break the clinch but Green is controlling him. Green tries to stall but Aloisio uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Aloisio slaps away a takedown attempt from Green, before circling back to the center of the mat. Green tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Aloisio throws a right and a left that Green avoids nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Good work by Green as he checks the leg kick. Green drives through with a takedown into Aloisio's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Aloisio has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Green is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Green takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. This has been an exciting period of action! Aloisio breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Green shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aloisio's guard. Aloisio is pulling down on Green's head. It's preventing any offense from Green, at least for the moment. Aloisio keeping moving, preventing Green from controlling successfully. Green being controlled here momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aloisio continues to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aloisio manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Aloisio breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Green dives in for a single leg takedown but Aloisio sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Afonso Aloisio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alonzo Green.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Aloisio slaps away a takedown attempt from Green, before circling back to the center of the mat. Donk. Aloisio catches Green right on the button with a cross. Aloisio lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Aloisio throws a quick inside leg kick. A slow jab from Aloisio misses its intended target. A solid leg kick lands there for Aloisio.
Green shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Aloisio as he avoids it easily. Green shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Aloisio pinned against the cage. Aloisio gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that's the end of the fight! Afonso Aloisio showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Aloisio, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Silva has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Ruger has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Ruger is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Silva gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Ruger has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Silva clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Silva trying to get back to his feet but Ruger is in full control for now. Silva manages to reverse the position and now he's in Ruger's guard. Nice work there by Silva.
