The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smiff jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Suvorov looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Suvorov moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Suvorov rushes Smiff and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Smiff breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Suvorov waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Smiff.
Suvorov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smiff misses with a wild combination.
Suvorov keeps the fight on the outside.
Nice takedown defense from Smiff. No joy for Suvorov on that attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Suvorov gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Smiff throws a hook but Suvorov avoids it easily.
Suvorov is looking for a counter combo.
We've been hearing reports that Suvorov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Smiff is trying to control the action in half guard but Suvorov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Suvorov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smiff on the ground.

Smiff is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Suvorov is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Suvorov flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Smiff anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Suvorov and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Smiff slips an arm under Suvorov chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Smiff has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Smiff is squeezing on Suvorov like an anaconda would it's prey. Suvorov fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sriracha Smiff!
Sriracha Smiff decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

James tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

James closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Baeck explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

James jumps guard and drags Baeck to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

James drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Baeck manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now James has Baeck in his guard.

I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Kryger lands with a good body shot.
Wrecking Ball definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kryger connects with the punch.

It looks like Boon Wrecking Ball has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from Wrecking Ball misses the target.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wrecking Ball lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kryger has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kryger and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kryger feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wrecking Ball sprawling to the canvas! Wrecking Ball rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kryger finish him?!

Wrecking Ball walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Kryger! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Massimiliano Taddeo struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Fei lands a big uppercut and Taddeo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Taddeo looks OK. Fei waves Taddeo back to his feet!

Fei steps in with a hook that catches Taddeo right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Fei follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Taddeo looks absolutely devastated.

Rockatansky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cotto moves away.
Cotto appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Rockatansky moves out of range as Cotto throws a body kick.

Rockatansky closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cotto's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cotto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rockatansky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Cotto utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rockatansky working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cotto's head.
Rockatansky is in close to Cotto's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Cotto has momentary wrist control but Rockatansky slips an elbow through the middle.
