The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pinto is looking to clinch. Impaler tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Pinto drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Impaler looking for a guillotine here but Pinto defends easily.
Impaler can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pinto controls the pace. Impaler controls Pinto momentarily but Pinto frees himself. Impaler looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Pinto passes into side control.
Pinto in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

You can see the frustration on Impaler's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Pinto wants to control but Impaler is keeping him busy. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz fails with the takedown. Nice takedown defense from Crocker. No joy for Cruz on that attempt. Cruz scores a takedown into full mount! Cruz throwing strikes here but Crocker is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Cruz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Crocker is just riding it out for now. Cruz eventually gives up the hold. Crocker is positioning himself well to prevent Cruz advancing to mount. Crocker manages to escape and get back to his feet! Crocker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Crocker takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Crocker gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Crocker throws and elbow that misses. Cruz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Crocker's guard. Nice move by Cruz!

Crocker throws a nice looking combination but Cruz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cruz fails with a takedown attempt. Cruz shoots for a double leg takedown but Crocker sprawls well. He's pushed Cruz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Crocker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Crocker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cruz moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Cruz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cruz showed some decent athleticism there. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Crocker can do anything to dispel that myth. Cruz stalling away here and it's allowed Crocker to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Cruz drops back, looking for a kneebar! Crocker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Crocker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Crocker! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cruz seems a little lost for a moment, as Crocker dominates the positioning.

Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Martinez swats him away and circles back towards the center. Martinez jabs at Jackson's body. Martinez scores with a takedown into Jackson's guard. Jackson is striking off his back. Martinez thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Tyler loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Portes is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Uzumaki is in big trouble! Portes is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Uzumaki. Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Fabio Portes! Fabio Portes is the new super heavyweight champion!

6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wagner Flabianno! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flabianno is looking to clinch but Long is avoiding it.
Long keeps the fight on the outside. Long tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Flabianno counters by clinching up. Flabianno tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Long wants to get back to striking at distance but Flabianno won't allow it.
Flabianno manages to break the clinch.
Flabianno looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Long is fending him off so far but Flabianno persists. Nope, Long circles away and we're back to standing. Long throws a jab but it's blocked by Flabianno. Long cracks Flabianno with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Long really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Flabianno fails to land the takedown. Some wild striking there from Long.
Flabianno ducks under a wild hook from Long. Long misses with a double jab
and Flabianno counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Flabianno misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Flabianno closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Long is not content to let Flabianno control the position. Long looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flabianno not landing any meaningful shots this time. Flabianno thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Flabianno wants to lay and pray for a moment but Long keeps working. Flabianno missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Long looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Flabianno not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Long moves in looking to clinch but Flabianno pushes him off. Flabianno fails to land with a series of punches.
Long has managed to clinch.
Flabianno has Long pressed against the cage, preventing Long from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flabianno trying to land knees to the body.
Flabianno successfully pulls guard.
Long thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Long slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Long is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Flabianno has escaped the position, nice work there. Long wants to lay and pray for a moment but Flabianno keeps working. Flabianno is looking to reverse the position. Flabianno is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Long tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Long has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Long is breathing heavily. Flabianno struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Long tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Long has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Flabianno regains half guard. Flabianno looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Long wants to control but Flabianno is keeping him busy. Long is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Flabianno is just riding it out for now. Long eventually gives up the hold. Flabianno gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Wagner Flabianno will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Flabianno rushes Long and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Long can't break the clinch.
Flabianno has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Long clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Long breaks Flabianno's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Long drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Long jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Flabianno looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Long has picked Flabianno up and slammed him! Flabianno can't keep hold of the triangle and Long manages to pass to side control! Flabianno is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Long's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Long trying to control the action but Flabianno is working from the bottom. Flabianno actively working from the bottom here. Flabianno is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Long is just content to waste time from the top position. Flabianno takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Long drops back looking for a leg! Flabianno is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Flabianno manages to kick Long off! Long jumps back into Flabianno's guard. Long has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Flabianno pushes a forearm under Long's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Long is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
