1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Boots! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boots dives in for a single leg takedown but Eduardo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Boots fails with a takedown attempt. Eduardo changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Eduardo drives through with a takedown into Boots's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Eduardo's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Eduardo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Eduardo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boots working a defensive guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Eduardo lands a couple of decent looking shots. Eduardo content to stall in guard here. Boots trying to keep a closed guard but Eduardo is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Eduardo's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Eduardo lands a couple of elbows.
Boots is rocked! Boots is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Eduardo gets to his feet and stands over Boots, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Boots felt that one! Eduardo unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Boots from any more punishment!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chao misses with a looping left. Chao throws an off balance right hand
and Hellsten counters with an outside leg kick.

and Hellsten counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Chao defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hellsten. Chao takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Hellsten tries to clinch there but Chao circles away.
Hellsten closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chao circles away. Hellsten fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peetu Hellsten. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hellsten scores with a jab to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hellsten moves in looking to clinch but Chao pushes him off. Chao misses with a hook. Hellsten ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hellsten appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Hellsten goes for a double leg but Chao avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Chao continues to drive forward. Hellsten looks to score with a jab to the body but Chao is just out of range.

Hellsten throws a sloppy head kick and Chao moves out of range easily. Hellsten ducks under a wild hook from Chao. Hellsten tries to counter with a takedown but Chao is quick to defend against it. Hellsten fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hellsten defending well as Chao loads up on a big left hand. Hellsten throws a series of punches but Chao avoids them all with ease. Hellsten shoots in looking for a takedown. Chao tries to sprawl out of it but Hellsten keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chao manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hellsten is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Chao. Hellsten does a little dance to reset his feet. Chao throws an overhand right that lands on Hellsten's shoulder, as Hellsten tries to avoid the shot. Chao thows a left - swing and a miss! Chao looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Chao not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Chao working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hellsten's head. Chao is working Hellsten over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chao scoring with some ground and pound. Chao sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hellsten's guard. Chao content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Hellsten manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Chao lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Chao must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Chao lands a couple of elbows.
Hellsten is rocked! Chao keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hellsten's head. Oh Hellsten is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Chao is pushing down on Hellsten's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hellsten is fighting to maintain full guard but Chao has managed to sneak the leg through. Chao controlling the action here. Chao lands a big elbow - Hellsten is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Chao!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Renton punishes Hughes's body with a nice straight punch. Renton throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Frank Hughes has been cut. Hughes wants to clinch up but Renton keeps it at a distance. Renton is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Hughes with a body shot. Renton misses the shot to the body. Hughes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Renton swivels and escapes. Renton blocks a head kick by Hughes.
Renton stuns Hughes with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Renton misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hughes.
Renton misses with a wild body shot. Hughes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hughes shoots in for a double leg but Renton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hughes connects with a leg kick. Renton looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Hughes gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hughes drags the fight down to the ground.
Hughes controls Renton momentarily but Renton frees himself. Renton trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hughes's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Renton throwing strikes from guard but Hughes blocks nicely. Renton postures up in Hughes's guard and throws a big left but Hughes blocks it. Renton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Renton works over Hughes with some ground and pound from guard. Renton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hughes is trying to keep Renton in close.
Renton throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hughes lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Renton can do anything to dispel that myth. Hughes trying to control the position from guard on top but Renton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Renton working for a triangle but Hughes defends it easily.
Hughes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Renton swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hughes trying to control but Renton is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Renton keeping full guard, as Hughes tries to pass. Renton keeping moving, preventing Hughes from controlling successfully.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Hughes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hughes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Renton counters with a straight punch to the midsection. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Hughes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hughes is breathing heavily. Renton drops Hughes with a beautiful combination! Hughes stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Renton is looking for the KO! Hughes misses with a lunging right hand
and Renton counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Hughes takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hughes is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hughes drops his hands momentarily. Renton doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Hughes staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Hughes doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dock moves into the clinch successfully.
Dogg works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Dogg looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Dock is looking to cinch up a triangle. Dogg throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dock's body to avoid the submission. Dock has instead reached around Dogg's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dock arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
