3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jerry Travis! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pluta tries to clinch but Travis moves away so Travis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Pluta looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Travis pushes down on Pluta's leg and manages to get into half guard. Travis is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Travis throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Travis lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Travis looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Travis lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's one minute gone in the round. Travis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pluta defends it well. Pluta is not content to let Travis control the position. Travis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Travis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Travis drops an elbow to the side of Pluta's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Travis controlling the pace. Travis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pluta does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Travis is nestled in close to Pluta, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Travis winds up and cracks Pluta with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Pluta wants to improve his position but Travis is controlling well.
Travis is figuring out what he wants to do next. Travis stands up and beckons Pluta to join him on the feet. Travis drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Travis wants to control but Pluta is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Travis slows the pace down. Travis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Travis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pluta, who protects the arm well. Travis stands up and beckons Pluta to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Travis tries for a takedown but Pluta sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Pluta feinted there with a counter leg kick. Travis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pluta was well out of range. Poor timing from Travis. Travis fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Pluta leaves Travis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ghita Pluta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerry Travis. Travis misses with a body shot.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pluta shoots for a takedown but Travis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Travis wants to counter with a clinch but Pluta pushes him away. Travis throws a right hand that Pluta ducks under and follows up with a left that Pluta also avoids with ease. Travis throws a shot from downtown. Pluta moves away and avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jerry Travis dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Travis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Travis taking a breather here. Travis has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Pluta is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Travis yanks on the arm and Pluta is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Travis.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jerry Travis! Jerry Travis decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hegg lands an overhand right. Hegg takes the fight into the clinch. Hegg dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Hegg's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hegg tries a head kick but it misses.
Hegg shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hegg showed some decent athleticism there. Dupuis makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dupuis. Hegg stands up and waves to Dupuis to follow him. Dupuis tries for a takedown but Hegg sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dupuis. Hegg misses with a head kick.

Dupuis is trying to drag Hegg to the mat but Hegg just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Hegg breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dupuis fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hegg moves into range and connects with a jab. Hegg shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dupuis napping and manages to drive through into side control! Dupuis manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Dupuis is breathing heavily.

Dupuis shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hegg connects with a solid leg kick. Dupuis shoots in looking for a takedown. Hegg tries to sprawl out of it but Dupuis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hegg manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A head kick from Hegg lands but Dupuis takes it in his stride. Hegg jabs Dupuis right on the nose. Dupuis blinks but takes it well. Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Hegg! This one is all over!

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Balboa just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gonzo's brow. Balboa pulls guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Balboa holds on and takes a little breather. Gonzo throwing strikes from guard but Balboa blocks nicely. Rocky Balboa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gonzo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Balboa is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Balboa has escaped and now he's on top! Balboa controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Rocky Balboa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Balboa won't allow Gonzo to sweep him here.
And that's the end of the fight! Rocky Balboa showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Balboa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Defensor Iii misses its intended target. Defensor Iii takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Frunze scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Defensor Iii throws a series of punches but Frunze moves out of range. Frunze lands a head kick. Defensor Iii smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Nice straight punches there by Frunze. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Frunze. Frunze throws a nice outside leg kick. Good leg kick by Frunze there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Defensor Iii avoids the head kick by Frunze.
Frunze plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Defensor Iii walks straight into a right hand from Frunze - that's dropped him! Frunze jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Defensor Iii from any more punishment! Defensor Iii complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Pendragon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rowan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rowan wants to control from the top but Pendragon keeps moving. Rowan landing with the ground and pound. Rowan pushing down on Pendragon's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Rowan prevents Pendragon from improving his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pendragon controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Pendragon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Rowan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pendragon, up you get! Pendragon lands with an uppercut that bounces Rowan off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Erick Rowan has been cut. Rowan ducks under a wild hook from Pendragon. Pendragon swats away the attempt to clinch by Rowan. Rowan fails with the takedown. Arthur Pendragon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pendragon attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Rowan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

and Rowan counters with a nice double leg into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Rowan stays in close to Pendragon's body and controls the position. Pendragon wants to sweep here but Rowan controlling him for the moment. Rowan looking to pass the guard. Pendragon wants to sweep but no luck. Rowan trying to control but Pendragon is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rowan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Pendragon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pendragon connects with a single shot there. Arthur Pendragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rowan tries for a takedown but Pendragon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Pendragon throws a quick counter kick to the body but Rowan avoids it. Arthur Pendragon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erick Rowan. Pendragon cracks Rowan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. A looping hook to the body misses from Pendragon. Rowan does a little dance to reset his feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rowan can do anything to dispel that myth. Pendragon is standing up, even though he is in mount. Pendragon throws out a loose jab but Rowan uses good head movement to avoid it. Rowan fails to land the takedown. Pendragon scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
