 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barant is looking to clinch but Glensson is avoiding it.
Glensson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Glensson blocks a head kick by Barant.

Glensson has Barant pressed against the cage, preventing Barant from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Glensson lands a body punch in the clinch.  Barant is rocked! A short right from Glensson. Oh Barant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! Glensson lands an uppercut.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Glensson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Glensson throws a big uppercut that drops Barant! More strikes from Glensson and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Barant lies dazed against the cage as Glensson celebrates with his cornermen!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dux misses with a series of wild punches.
Tim tries to counter by closing the distance. Kurt Dux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tim takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Dux throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tim counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dux really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tim is working for a kimura here but Dux manages to reverse the position and he's now in Tim's guard.
Tim is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dux got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tim has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dux has managed to get both his arms back between Tim's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dux stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tim swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tim is pulling down on Dux's head to control his posture.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Tim is continuing to stall.
Dux thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Tim pushes a forearm under Dux's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dux is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khalifa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Downes pinned against the cage. Downes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Downes misses with a low kick.
Khalifa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Downes is looking to reverse the position. Khalifa working the ground and pound but Downes is defending the strikes. Khalifa sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Downes is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Downes gets back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Downes won't allow Khalifa to pass to mount. Khalifa missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Downes wants to improve his position but Khalifa is controlling well.

Downes utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Khalifa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Downes works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Khalifa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Downes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Downes looking for a sweep. Not yet Downes, not yet. Downes keeps trying to improve his position. Downes is trying to keep Khalifa in close.

and Downes counters with a single leg into guard. Khalifa didn't expect that. Downes working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Khalifa's head. Downes sitting in guard here, content to control. Downes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Khalifa swivels though and keeps the full guard. Downes with a nice head shot there. Downes trying to control but Khalifa is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Downes is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Khalifa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Sajed Khalifa dominated that round. That's time! Khalifa's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Downes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Downes lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Khalifa is trying to keep Downes in close.
Downes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Khalifa swivels though and keeps the full guard. Downes postures up.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Downes shoots for a double leg takedown but Khalifa sprawls well. He's pushed Downes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Downes throws a left and a right that both miss
and Khalifa counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Khalifa is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Downes sees it coming and defends easily. Downes is looking to improve his position.
Downes is trying to maintain the position but Khalifa is very close to passing his half guard. Downes has a hand on Khalifa's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Khalifa takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Downes is looking to get to half guard. Khalifa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Khalifa is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Downes is surviving well by controlling Khalifa's body position as best he can. Downes is trying to escape the mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Downes tries to hold on but Khalifa postures up. Downes avoids a series of strikes thrown by Khalifa.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Sajed Khalifa dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Khalifa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Downes circles away. Downes shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Khalifa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Downes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Khalifa somewhat. Khalifa dives in and grabs Downes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Downes pushes down on Khalifa's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sajed Khalifa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Downes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Khalifa tries for a takedown but Downes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Downes throws a chopping leg kick but Khalifa manages to avoid taking any serious damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khalifa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Khalifa attempts a counter takedown but Downes avoids it well and moves away. Khalifa shoots in but no luck this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Downes looks to score with a jab to the body but Khalifa is just out of range.
Downes gets a double leg takedown into Khalifa's guard. Khalifa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Downes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Downes looking to pass the guard. Downes postures up.
Downes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Downes cracks Khalifa with a solid left hand. Downes slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Downes grinds an elbow into Khalifa's temple.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Downes working the body and head with strikes. Downes looking to control but instead Khalifa has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Well, if Downes is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.

Khalifa taking some punishment here, with Downes in his half guard. Khalifa is looking to improve his position.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Downes passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Khalifa! Downes lands a couple of good shots and Khalifa has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Churchill Downes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Downes just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Let's hope that Downes has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aldo digs a good body shot into Gonsalez's ribs. Gonsalez tries a head kick but it misses.
Aldo jabs Gonsalez to the body, keeping him at a distance. Aldo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Gonsalez tries to counter with a clinch but Aldo shakes him off and moves away. Aldo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gonsalez's head. Aldo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Oooooh!!! Aldo has knocked Gonsalez down with a huge combo! Aldo steps away and waves a wobbly Gonsalez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
 Gonsalez is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gonsalez circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Aldo. Gonsalez falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Aldo!
