The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Buckets takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Buckets tries to bum rush Ferdum with a series of wild strikes but Ferdum uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Buckets scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
We've been hearing reports that Ferdum has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Ferdum fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Buckets to the ground. Ferdum is now in Buckets's guard.
Buckets manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ferdum manages to get himself to full guard.

Ferdum bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Buckets's guard.
