The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Out lands a body shot.
Out moves to clinch but Shelton breaks away and Shelton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Knock Out has been cut. Out is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shelton. Shelton throws an off balance right hand
and Out counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Marc Shelton has been cut. Out showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Shelton.
Out rushes Shelton and presses him up against the cage. A right hook to the body lands for Shelton.
Shelton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shelton throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Out counters with a lovely straight right hand! Out connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shelton. Shelton circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Out lands a big right hand that sends Shelton crashing to the mat! Out stays standing though and waves Shelton back to his feet!

Marc Shelton's cut is getting worse. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shelton doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Out digs a good hook to Shelton's body.
Shelton is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shelton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Out drops Shelton with a naaaaasty hook - Shelton is in real trouble here! Out dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khalafa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nelson throws a lazy uppercut
and Khalafa counters with a lovely shot to the body. Khalafa closes the distance and clinches. Nelson wants to get back to striking at distance but Khalafa won't allow it.
Khalafa lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Nelson is trying to break the clinch but Khalafa is controlling him. Nelson can't break the clinch.
Khalafa keeps control of Nelson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Khalafa lands with a short shot to the head. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Khalafa. Khalafa lands with a right to the head. A right hand to the body from Khalafa.
Khalafa scores with an uppercut up the middle. Khalafa throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Nelson is breathing heavily. Khalafa lands a right hand that snaps the head of Nelson backwards. Khalafa creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Nelson with a big uppercut! Nelson tries to clinch up but Khalafa pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Nelson to the mat! Nelson covers up and Khalafa unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

As Schmo tries to get set, Rodrigues tries to push him back and clinch up but Schmo manages to avoid the attempt. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Schmo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Rodrigues uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Schmo. Rodrigues keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rodrigues blocks a jab. Schmo throws a body punch but Rodrigues moves out of range. Schmo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rodrigues under the eye. Schmo throws a big shot that misses. Rodrigues tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Schmo manages to circle out of the way. Rodrigues tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Schmo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Rodrigues steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Schmo. Rodrigues tries to counter by clinching up but Schmo breaks away and moves out of range. Schmo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rodrigues was well out of range. Poor timing from Schmo. Rodrigues wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. A looping hook to the body misses from Schmo. Rodrigues does a little dance to reset his feet. Schmo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blaker tries to move into range but Xyd moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Scott Blaker has been cut. A big left from Blaker misses. A big left from Xyd misses. Xyd swings for the body but Blaker moves out of range.
Blaker walks forward, straight into a front kick from Xyd. A head kick misses from Xyd. Blaker let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Xyd throws a head kick that misses. Blaker walks into a stiff left hand from Xyd. Blaker sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Xyd lands a big head kick that sends Blaker tumbling to the mat! Xyd takes a step backwards and waves Blaker back to his feet - he wants the finish! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Xyd throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Blaker looks winded! Blaker takes one on the button. Crunch! Xyd slams his shin into Blaker's torso. A kick lands to the mid section there for Xyd. Xyd throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Xyd lands a nice looking body kick.

That has opened up Scott Blaker's cut even more. Xyd thuds his shin into the meat of Blaker's side. Xyd explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Nice body kick from Xyd. Xyd swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Zyd Xyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A nice leg kick lands there from Xyd. A jab from Blaker misses. Blaker has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Xyd. Blaker misses with a wild body shot. Xyd throws a leg kick which misses Blaker's front leg but catches the back leg as Blaker tries to avoid it. Xyd lands a nice looking body kick. Xyd throws a nice inside leg kick. Xyd lands a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Xyd jabs Blaker to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Xyd seems to be stalking Blaker here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! Blaker drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown misses with a takedown attempt and Deluxe counters with a nice body shot. Brown's coach down at Next Gen MMA (Only Elite coaches) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Brown's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Brown fails with the takedown letting Deluxe counter with a right hand. Brown misses with a takedown attempt and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Johnny Deluxe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buck Brown. Deluxe stuffs a takedown. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Von Erich sizes up Menger with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. A jab from Von Erich finds it's way through Menger's defenses. Menger shoots in for a takedown but Von Erich shows good takedown defense. Menger moves out of range of the leg kick from Von Erich. Von Erich definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Good standup being displayed there by Von Erich as he connects with a hook. Von Erich lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Menger is defended easily by Von Erich. A little feinted left hand from Von Erich on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Von Erich lands a lovely overhand right. Menger with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Von Erich to score with a decent uppercut. Menger shoots in looking for a takedown but Von Erich manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Menger's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. David Von Erich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Menger. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Menger shakes it off. Von Erich swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Menger. Menger shoots in looking for a takedown. Menger takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Von Erich lands with an uppercut that bounces Menger off the cage and back into range. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Menger misses with a takedown attempt - Von Erich sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Von Erich seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Menger has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Von Erich finds it's way round the side to connect with Menger's head. Menger's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Von Erich connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Menger scrambles back to his feet. Menger takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Menger shoots for a takedown but Von Erich saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Von Erich lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Von Erich lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Von Erich cracks Menger with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Menger is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Von Erich moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Lesnar lands a hook to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A nice right hand lands inside from Lesnar. Doodle doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Lesnar scores with a hook to the body. Lesnar makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Lesnar drops Doodle onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Doodle is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Doodle is rocked! Lesnar mutters something to Doodle before pushing him back against the cage. As Doodle comes back towards him, Lesnar unloads a hook from the very depths of hell that knocks Doodle clean out! Oh. My. God. That is some seriously brutal stuff right there! What a knockout!
