1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Demetrius Tektas! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edmond tries for a takedown but Tektas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tektas gets a clinch. Edmond tries to circle away but Tektas has him pinned against the cage. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tektas has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Tektas keeps control of Edmond as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Tektas throws an elbow that misses.
Edmond manages to pull guard.
Tektas is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Tektas keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Edmond's head. Edmond knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tektas on the ground. Tektas working some strikes from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tektas is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Tektas slips nicely into half guard. Tektas seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Tektas is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Edmond! Tektas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Tektas in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Edmond is rocked! Tektas postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Edmond bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Tektas and the fight is over!

Douglas lands with a hook. Stevens tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Douglas digs a good hook to Stevens's body.
