Undercard bout

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Katsuya Yasumi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirks Lazarus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yasumi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lunchmoney Lewis-Real Thing. Katsuya Yasumi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Lazarus throws a nice outside leg kick.

Lazarus tries to clinch up but Yasumi circles away and keeps his distance.

It looks like Kirks Lazarus has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Yasumi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lazarus's guard.

Lazarus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yasumi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lazarus is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Yasumi is aware though and is defending well.

Yasumi decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lazarus lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Yasumi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Yasumi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Yasumi changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

and Yasumi scores with a counter punch that sends Lazarus to the canvas! Yasumi smells blood - he's punishing Lazarus with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Lazarus has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

A victorious Katsuya Yasumi thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
In defeat, Kirks Lazarus stepped up to the mic, saying 'It's a tough loss for sure. I still want to challenge myself. I call out Knight and his big mouth manager Stu next round. He picks first, so if it doesnt happen, he's a coward.'.
