Seeka did well to prevent Dentalplan getting side control. Seeka blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dentalplan. Pope Benedict seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Weiner cracks a nice hook into Benedict's ribs. Benedict smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Weiner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Benedict.
Benedict looks to land a left hand but Weiner moved out of range nicely. Weiner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Weiner ducks under a wild hook from Benedict. A cross from Weiner lands. Weiner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Weiner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Benedict throws a lazy right hand but Weiner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Weiner scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Benedict doesn't seem bothered though. Weiner works Benedict's body with a nice hook.

Benedict might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Benedict walks straight into a right hand from Weiner - that's dropped him! Weiner jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Benedict from any more punishment! Benedict complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
