Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sandman darts in and clinches Crane up against the cage.

Sandman jumps guard but Crane turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Crane just misses with a elbow thrown towards Sandman's brow.
Sandman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Crane walks away with a smile on his face. Sandman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Crane bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sandman tries to buck Crane off but Crane is having none of it.

Crane is trying to get an arm triangle but Sandman is defending well.
Sandman is trying to get back to half guard.
Crane lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sandman down.
Crane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Crane lands a nice forearm strike.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Crane is pressing down on Sandman's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sandman is holding on for now.
Sandman makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sandman.
Sandman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Crane is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Crane!
