The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wilson lands in his opponent's guard. Wilson won't allow Weger to sweep him here. Weger controls Wilson momentarily but Wilson frees himself. Wilson scoring with some ground and pound. Wilson advances position into side control! Wilson is working Weger over with some ground and pound from side control. Wilson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Weger is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Wilson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy left from Arpa finds it's target. Pyykkonen has a takedown stuffed. Pyykkonen avoids a punch combination nicely.
No luck for Pyykkonen with that takedown attempt. Pyykkonen looks for a takedown but Arpa sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petteri Pyykkonen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pyykkonen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Arpa looks to move to half guard but instead Pyykkonen has passed into mount! Damn! Pyykkonen lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Arpa hang on? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Arpa is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pyykkonen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Arpa is looking to escape. Arpa keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pyykkonen misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Arpa is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Arpa throws a right hand that Pyykkonen ducks under and follows up with a left that Pyykkonen also avoids with ease. Arpa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Arpa leaves Pyykkonen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arpa throws an overhand right that lands on Pyykkonen's shoulder, as Pyykkonen tries to avoid the shot. Juri Arpa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Arpa lands with a big right hook that stumbles Pyykkonen - he's out on his feet here! Arpa follows up with another monster hook that separates Pyykkonen from consciousness! Pyykkonen falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Arpa stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tronko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Data moves away. Nice body punch from Tronko. Data pushes Tronko up against the cage in a clinch. Tronko tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Data smiles and moves away.
Mr Data seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Data tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. No joy there for Tronko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Data wants to clinch. Data closes the distance and clinches. A short body shot lands from Data as the two fighters clinch.
Data throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Tronkos head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tronko tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Data just stands there and leans against the cage. Tronko wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Data has him pressed against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Tronko is trying to break free. Tronko wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Data throws out a leg kick but Tronko moves out of range and Data only half commits. A shot to de liver by Tronko. Beautiful body shot. Data looks gassed! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tronko works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Tronko drops Data with a big left hand and mounts him. Data is in big trouble!
Data is rocked! Tronko can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Data is looking to escape. Data is still in real trouble! Can Tronko finish him?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tronko jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Data is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Data and Tronko has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Data seems to have recovered his senses. Tronko trying to control the position but Data is working away. Tronko wants to control for a moment but Data uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Tronko is working for a kimura but Data is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tronko throws a strike but Data avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Data wants to get back to his feet but Tronko is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Tronko wanted to stand there but Data had control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Tronko connects with the punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Data wants to clinch. Tronko throws a jab when Data was well out of range. Data moves in looking to clinch but Tronko pushes him off. Tronko lands with a hook. Data tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Data forces Tronko back against the cage and clinches. Tronko looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Data works on Tronko's body with a couple of short punches. Data tightens his grip and picks Tronko up, before dumping him to the ground. Tronko manages to land in guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Tronko wants to stand but Data is controlling the position. Data won't allow Tronko to sweep him here.

Data chips away with some ground and pound. Tronko is looking for a triangle but Data pushes his legs off easily.
Data distracts Tronko with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Data cracks Tronko with a solid left hand. Tronko is working an open guard so Data takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Tronko misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Data tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tronko swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tronko throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Data stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Data is breathing heavily. Tronko scores with a jab to the body. The fighters circle momentarily. Tronko darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Data misses with a body punch
and Tronko counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Nice combo by Tronko! Oh, that's hurt him - Data falls to the canvas and Tronko follows him into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tronko decides to stand up, so the ref orders Data to his feet. Tronko scores with the left hand. Data knows he should have avoided that one. Tronko throws a sloppy head kick and Data moves out of range easily.

Tronko drops Data with a right and a left! Tronko comes rushing in but Data regains his composure and manages to keep Tronko in guard.
Tronko wants to stand but Data is controlling his posture from full guard. Data not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Tronko is looking to work some ground and pound but Data has wrist control. Tronko trying to control the position from guard on top but Data is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tronko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Tronko wants to stand and escape but instead Data has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Data got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tronko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Data has managed to get both his arms back between Tronko's legs - danger averted. Data postures up in Tronko's guard and throws a big left but Tronko blocks it. Data advances position into side control! Data working away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tronko tries to escape but Data is in control. Tronko is looking for a sweep. Tronko is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Data off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tronko punishes Data's body with a nice straight punch. Tronko throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tronko fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Data takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Tronko scores with a one two! Data had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Data showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tronko.

Data is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Tronko throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Data stumbling backwards into the cage! Data bounces back off the cage towards Tronko, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Tronko lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Tronko celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
