Southbrook rushes Salgado and presses him up against the cage.

It looks like Saiyan Southbrook has been cut.
Southbrook wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Salgado lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Southbrook backwards.
Southbrook blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Salgado presses Southbrook against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Salgado swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Salgado breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Salgado clinches up with Southbrook and pushes him back against the cage.

Salgado scores with a sloppy right hand. Southbrook should have avoided that one.
Salgado tries to bum rush Southbrook with a series of wild strikes but Southbrook uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Southbrook looks up at the clock. Bad move! Salgado lands a right hand from hell, dropping Southbrook. Salgado pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Francisco Salgado decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benjamin moves into range and connects with a jab.
Brinks fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Benjamin avoids it really well and circles away.
Brinks keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Benjamin.
Nice defenses there by Brinks.
Benjamin tries to clinch there but Brinks circles away.
Benjamin tries to close the distance and clinch but Brinks swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Benjamin misses with an uppercut. Brinks saw that one coming.
Brinks defending well as Benjamin loads up on a big left hand.
Brinks staying out of range there.
Benjamin feints a jab promting Brinks to slip. Benjamin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Brinks slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Benjamin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Benjamin throws a hook to the side of Brinks's head but Brinks sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brinks is trying to counter with his kicks.
Benjamin missing with a left hand there. Brinks was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Brinks wants to counter the offense by Benjamin and move into the clinch position.

Brinks drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brinks content to stall in guard here.

Brinks ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Benjamin's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Benjamin duly obliges.
Benjamin throws a looping overhand right but Brinks ducks down to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Brinks! But no joy.

Brinks shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Benjamin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brinks content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Benjamin has locked up a guillotine! Benjamin's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Brinks is holding on here and Benjamin must be using up a lot of energy. Brinks has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Benjamin gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Arbuckle was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Soze shoots in for a takedown but Samurai shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Samurai throws a hook but Soze avoids it easily.
Soze moves out of range of the strikes.
Samurai takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Samurai throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Soze.
Soze scores with a jab to the body.
Soze dodges the punch combination from Samurai.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Soze connects with a nice cross there... Samurai is looking wobbly and Soze recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Samurai to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Soze jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chiasson is working for a rear naked choke. Stelling is not defending it well and Chiasson has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Stelling refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Stelling 's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Eighteen closes the distance and clinches up with Reo, looking for a takedown. Eighteen pushes Reo against the cage but Reo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Eighteen tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Eighteen darts in looking for a takedown but Reo gets double underhooks and turns Eighteen into the cage.

Barret lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Palmer falls backwards - clearly groggy! Barret dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wayne Barret!
Wayne Barret really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that RAGS of a RONIN logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
Leland Palmer spoke after the fight, saying 'nooo'.

Faria tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Metaxas paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Metaxas ducks right into an uppercut from Faria.

It looks like Atlas Metaxas has been cut.
Metaxas scores with the left hand. Faria knows he should have avoided that one.
Faria throws a lazy right hand but Metaxas sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Faria won't allow Metaxas to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Abbe Faria will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Atlas Metaxas's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Faria shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Faria tries to clinch but Metaxas moves out of range.
Good exchange - Faria coming out on top.
Faria finds Metaxas's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Metaxas flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Faria lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Metaxas will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Abbe Faria!
A pretty intense looking Abbe Faria took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
