The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jong Un lands a nice shot that snaps Jefe's head back.
Jefe throws a half hearted mid kick. Jong Un lands with a shot to the body. Jefe lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
It looks like Kim Jong Un has been cut. Jefe lands a jab to the nose. Jefe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jefe jabbing away but nothing is landing. Jong Un misses with a wild combination.
Jong Un gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jefe. Jefe throws a right and a left that Jong Un avoids nicely. Jong Un takes a swing at Jefe's ribcage but misses. Jefe throws a nice looking combination but Jong Un bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jong Un lands a nice shot that snaps Jefe's head back.

Jefe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Maximo Jefe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A big right from Jong Un misses. A big left from Jong Un misses. Jong Un pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Jong Un has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Jefe moves forwards but Jong Un connects with a nice, crisp jab. Jefe forces Jong Un back against the cage and clinches. Jefe trying to land knees to the body.

Jefe lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jong Un backwards. Jong Un cracks Jefe with a nice body shot. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Jefe tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Both guys are working to get underhooks. A knee to the head by Jefe.

Jefe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jong Un was well out of range. Poor timing from Jefe. Jong Un lands with a slapping head kick. Jong Un misses the jab. Sloppy strikes from Jong Un. Those never looked like landing. Jong Un keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That was a close round but I would say that Maximo Jefe will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kim Jong Un's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A big left from Jefe misses. Jong Un tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jefe is able to avoid easily. Jong Un avoids a kick to the body.
Jong Un now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Jong Un blocks a jab. Jong Un connects with a right hand. Jefe shakes it off. Jong Un chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jefe can pounce on him.
Jong Un misses with a hook. Jefe was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Jefe bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Jong Un is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Jefe just misses with a punch to the body.
The fight moves into the clinch position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jong Un is trying to stall.

That has opened up Kim Jong Un's cut even more. Jefe lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jong Un backwards. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jefe gets through Jong Un's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Jefe lands an elbow that stopped Jong Un in his tracks for a moment.

The cut above Kim Jong Un's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Clinched against the cage, Jefe lands a big elbow that drops Jong Un! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Jong Un is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maximo Jefe! Maximo Jefe spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. Kim Jong Un spoke after the fight, saying 'I will have those judges take out at an airport!'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanma closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hanma lands in his opponent's guard. Margera being controlled here, momentarily. Hanma trying to control the position from guard on top but Margera is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Margera trying to control the position.
Margera working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hanma doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hanma manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hanma wants to pass the guard but Margera is keeping the position. Margera trying to control the position.

Hanma postures up in Margera's guard and throws a big left but Margera blocks it. Hanma preventing the sweep. Hanma trying to control the position from guard on top but Margera is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hanma won't allow Margera to sweep him here. Hanma is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Margera is trying to control the position but Hanma postures up. Margera is looking to sweep but instead, Hanma has passed into half guard.
Margera is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hanma connects with a nice short shot to Margera's temple. Hanma is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Margera wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hanma working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Margera is looking to improve his position.
Hanma controlling the pace. Margera won't allow Hanma to pass to mount. Hanma stalling. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Margera wants to control but Hanma is keeping busy.
Margera is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Margera strikes from the bottom but Hanma uses the opportunity to move to side control.

The referee takes a look at Margera to see if he's OK. Hanma landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Margera is looking for a sweep. A lull in the action here as Hanma stalls from top position. You can see the frustration on Margera's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Margera manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hanma's best efforts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Margera is trying to get back to full guard. Margera is trying to maintain the position but Hanma is very close to passing his half guard. Hanma throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Margera wants to improve his position but Hanma is controlling well.
Margera is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hanma scores with a couple of nice shots. Margera is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Margera punching from the bottom.

Hanma is thwarting Margera's attempts to control the position. Margera is trying to get back to full guard. Hanma seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Margera tries to get to full guard but Hanma has control of the leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Margera holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Hanma is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Margera can do to turn this around? Hanma throwing shots but Margera is blocking nicely. Hanma trying to mount his opponent but Margera defends it.

Margera stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Hanma is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Margera misses with a straight left. Hanma shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Margera as he avoids it easily. Hanma tries to clinch up. Margera listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Hanma moves out of range of the strikes. Margera works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Margera fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hanma manages to avoid it. Margera lands with a shot to the body. Margera moves out of range of the strikes. Margera keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Margera! But no joy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Hanma. That's going to take a lot out of him. Margera throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hanma gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Hanma's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Margera connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hanma scrambles back to his feet. Margera has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Margera there as he acknowledges the shot. Hanma wants to clinch up but Margera keeps it at a distance. Hanma darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Hanma looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Margera lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Margera cracks Hanma with a good jab. Margera is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Margera stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Margera wants it to stay on the feet. Margera closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hanma did well to prevent Margera getting side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Margera throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Hanma to regain full guard. Hanma doesn't defend quickly enough and Margera has managed to lock this one up! Can Hanma escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Margera on a fantastic submission victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aoki takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Machine closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Aoki did well to prevent Machine getting side control. Machine not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Machine is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. 22 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Jonathon! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by James. Beautiful body shot. Jonathon doesn't succeed with the takedown and James makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Jonathon has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as James is landing a low percentage of strikes. James gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. James swings away with an uppercut that misses.
James works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jasta displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Falcone throws out the jab. Falcone swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Grundy looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Giantsbane smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Giantsbane is trying hard to land a takedown here. Grundy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Giantsbane throws a nice looking combination but Grundy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. and Grundy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A looping hook to the body misses from Grundy. Giantsbane does a little dance to reset his feet. Grundy punishes Giantsbane's body with a nice straight punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Giantsbane keeps the fight on the outside. Grundy has taken the fight to the clinch.

Giantsbane definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Grundy's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cyrus Great! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Bresnar misses. Bresnar thows a left - swing and a miss! A big left from Great misses. Bresnar feinted with a counter takedown. Bresnar throws a right and a left that both miss. Great keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bresnar misses with an uppercut. Great saw that one coming. Great lands with a right hand. Great takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Bresnar lands a glancing blow to the side of Great's head. Bresnar misses the shot to the body. Great throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bresnar sees it coming and avoids it easily. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Great has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Bresnar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Great. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bresnar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Great moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bresnar has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Midnight MMA in the buildup to the fight. Great throws a hook to the side of Bresnar's head but Bresnar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bresnar seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Bresnar throws a shot from downtown. Great moves away and avoids it. Great lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bresnar circles away quickly and effectively. Great ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bresnar moves away. Bresnar looks to land a right hand but Great moved out of range. Great looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Bresnar gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bresnar lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Great wants to hold on but Bresnar pushes him away. Bresnar cracks Great with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Great slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Bresnar trying to control from half guard but Great is working away. Bresnar is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Great looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Bresnar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Great pushes Bresnar off and gets back to his feet. Great looks to land a right hand but Bresnar moved out of range. Bresnar throws a body shot but no joy. Bresnar throws a body punch but Great moves out of range. Great throws a jab but it's blocked by Bresnar. Nice defenses there by Bresnar.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bresnar tries to move into range but Great moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. No joy there for Great, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bresnar tries for a takedown but Great sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bresnar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice cross by Great. Bresnar drives through with a takedown into Great's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Great has his feet on Bresnar's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. This has been an exciting period of action! Bresnar fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Great looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Great might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Great takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Great connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bresnar momentarily.
Left hook, right uppercut from Great. Great throws out a loose jab but Bresnar uses good head movement to avoid it. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bresnar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Great. Horrible takedown attempt by Bresnar or perhaps it was just good defense by Great, which made it look bad. Great is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bresnar had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Great thuds his right hand into Bresnar's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Cyrus Great will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Bresnar takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Bresnar looking to score a takedown here. Great is defending well but Bresnar drives through and ends up in Great's guard. Great working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bresnar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bresnar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bresnar content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Bresnar stands up over Great, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bresnar scoring with punches to the head and body. Great looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Great working for a triangle but Bresnar defends it easily.
