Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iwao Wada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernst Stavro Blofeld (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wada comes to the cage accompanied by Stranglehold. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Wada ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blofeld moves away.

and Hoffman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tyyp's guard.

Hoffman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tyyp works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hoffman is pushing down on Tyyp's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tyyp is fighting to maintain full guard but Hoffman has managed to sneak the leg through.
Tyyp tries to roll over but Hoffman keeps him under control.

Hoffman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tyyp sees it coming and defends easily.
Hoffman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tyyp with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Tyyp has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Hoffman is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Tyyp still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Tyyp has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Hoffman has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
