Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Freds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Fred Freds was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Alves shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Freds is looking to get back to is feet but Alves passes into side control.
Freds takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Alves cracks Freds with a big right hand but Freds just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Alves creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Alves has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
A lull in the action here.

Freds is rocked!
Alves lands a strong strike to the head of Freds. That's dazed him! Alves looking to finish here. Freds is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Alves lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

After the fight, Edgar Alves was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Joe Lau decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

Reynolds cracks Forty with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Forty falls to his knees and Reynolds doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Motts on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lyon darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lyon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Motts at a distance.
Lyon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Motts swivels and escapes.
A nice side step and Motts releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Lyon takes a little break here. Motts wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Motts really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lyon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

After the fight, St Petersburg Strangler was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Darko Vader was interviewed post fight and said 'I wanna thank all my fans for their support, and to the people who came to witness this great match. Gotta go my chika babes are now waiting in my room. '.
