The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Berg turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Tamakka fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Van Berg, pushing him back against the ropes. Van Berg doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Tamakka pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tamakka has closed the distance and engaged Van Berg in a clinch.
Tamakka manages to break the clinch.
Van Berg throws a body shot but no joy. Tamakka tries to counter by clinching up but Van Berg breaks away and moves out of range. Tamakka avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tamakka throws a counter high kick but Van Berg was just alert enough to avoid it. Tamakka throws a body kick that misses. Tamakka tries a head kick but it misses.

It looks like Eli Van Berg has been cut. Tamakka takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Van Berg misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tamakka looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Van Berg doesn't manage to clinch there - Tamakka circles away.
Van Berg has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Van Berg tries to clinch up but Tamakka circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tamakka pushes Van Berg up against the ropes in a clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Tamakka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Van Berg misses with a double jab.
Van Berg wants to clinch. Tamakka drives through and clinches with Van Berg against the ropes.
Van Berg tries to circle away but Tamakka has him pinned against the ropes. Tamakka pressing his opponent against the ropes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Berg tries a body shot but Tamakka blocks it.
Tamakka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tamakka throws a head kick but Van Berg moves out of range.
Van Berg throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tamakka. Tamakka tries a head kick but it misses.
Tamakka rushes Van Berg and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Van Berg working hard to break the clinch. Tamakka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tamakka takes the fight into the clinch. Van Berg misses with a short punch on the inside. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tuma Tamakka dominated that round. The cut man is working on Eli Van Berg's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Van Berg lands with a good body shot. Tamakka takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Tuma Tamakka has been cut. Van Berg tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Tamakka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Tamakka avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tamakka scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Van Berg to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
Van Berg is rocked! Tamakka throws a head kick but Van Berg moves out of range.
Tamakka sets himself, and Van Berg steps forward looking for the clinch! Tamakka avoids it this time. Van Berg is still on wobbly legs! Can Tamakka finish him? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Van Berg misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tamakka dances in with a quick combination. Van Berg is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Tamakka snaps Van Berg's head back. Van Berg stumbles backwards against the ropes. Tamakka steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Van Berg's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Van Berg just didn't come prepared.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Light throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Mullins tries to clinch but Light is having none of it. Mullins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Light swats him away and circles back towards the center. Light lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Light avoids the body shot from Mullins.
Light's coach down at The Island Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Light's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Light fails to land with a series of punches.
Light is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The crowd cheers as Light lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mullins doesn't seem phased though. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Light rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mullins moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mullins throws a jab but it's blocked by Light. Light connects with a body shot. Mullins tries to clinch up. Mullins takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mullins wants to clinch up but Light keeps it at a distance. A cross from Light lands. Mullins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Light swats him away and circles back towards the center. Light works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Mullins is rocked! Light throws a right and a left that both miss. Oh Mullins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Light is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Nice cross by Light. Light fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mullins swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Mullins wants to clinch. Light has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Mullins walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Mullins is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking cross lands there for Cormier . Gadar stuns Cormier with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Cormier . Gadar does a little dance to reset his feet. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gadar! But no joy. Gadar avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cormier throws a right hand that misses

Gadar blocks a jab. Gadar is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Cormier with a body shot. Gadar jabs Cormier to the body, keeping him at a distance. Gadar fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Cormier misses with a right hand and Gadar counters with a nice uppercut. Cormier takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Gadar takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jab by Gadar. Cormier misses with a lunging right hand
and Gadar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gadar uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Cormier 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gadar connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cormier scrambles back to his feet. Gadar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Gadar counters with a left to the body. Nice defenses there by Gadar. Cormier closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Gadar throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cormier on the side of the head. Cormier throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Gadar to counter with a crisp jab. Gadar avoids the body shot from Cormier .
Gadar connects with a body shot that sends Cormier 's belly button to the back. Donk. Cormier catches Gadar right on the button with a cross. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gadar lands a nice shot that snaps Cormier 's head back.
Cormier definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Cormier misses with a shot to the body letting Gadar counter with a right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cormier on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Gadar lands with a cross. Gadar thuds a left hand into Cormier 's body. Cormier is breathing heavily. Cormier on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gadar jabs Cormier to the body, keeping him at a distance. Cormier has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gadar finds it's way round the side to connect with Cormier 's head. Gadar scores with a hook. Cormier swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gadar lunges at Cormier with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cormier 's hand. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gadar fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Cormier takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cormier throws out a token jab with nothing on it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Gadar dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A slow jab from Cormier misses its intended target. Gadar looks like he wants to counter punch here. Gadar moves into range and connects with a jab. Cormier scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Gadar's corner calls for a 1-2. Gadar obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cormier throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gadar counters with a three punch combo that has Cormier backing up. Cormier nods at Gadar to acknowledge the strikes.
Cormier is rocked! Gadar closes the distance and catches Cormier with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Cormier is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Cormier is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Cormier is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Gadar takes it!

Wong is rocked! Wong looks winded! Fischer breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Wong with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Wong looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Wong get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bagdazar shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Bagdazar throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hoppe. Hoppe wants to counter the offense by Bagdazar and move into the clinch position. Hoppe tries to clinch but Bagdazar moves out of range. Hoppe blocks a jab. Hoppe avoids the head kick by Bagdazar.
Hoppe closes the distance and clinches. Hoppe can't find room to land a body shot as Bagdazar controls the action.

Bagdazar is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hoppe cracks Bagdazar with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Bagdazar goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Bagdazar wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
