The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barakus drives through and clinches with Devil against the cage.
Barakus goes for a takedown attempt but Devil pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Devil connects with a body shot that sends Barakus's belly button to the back.

Devil rushes Barakus and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Barakus breaks from the clinch.

Devil closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Barakus did well to prevent Devil getting side control.

Devil has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Barakus to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Devil is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Barakus pulls down on the head and he's put Devil to sleep! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Magnum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Connolly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magnum kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I am Stronger. Connolly is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sun Kil Moon - Alesund. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Connolly shoots in looking for a takedown but Magnum manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Connolly's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Magnum cracks Connolly with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Magnum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Connolly on the ground.

Magnum goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Connolly has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Magnum but great work by Connolly.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Helio tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Helio looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Askren displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Helio.
Helio doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Askren stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legacy misses with a head kick.
Legacy stalks Heislhass and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Heislhass's face. Heislhass staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Herbert Heislhass has been cut.
Legacy avoids the head kick by Heislhass.
Legacy is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Heislhass.
Heislhass throws a left and a right that both miss
and Legacy counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Heislhass badly! Legacy follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Heislhass out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Legacy finished him against the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Hunter Legacy!
