Nucombe drops Berg with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Berg looks back up at him and smiles so Nucombe waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Berg closes the distance and clinches up with Nucombe, looking for a takedown. Berg pushes Nucombe against the cage but Nucombe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Berg gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Nucombe gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Berg is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Neil Nucombe really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Quark's logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Franjic has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Carter after a bit of a struggle.
Carter throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Carter lands a really nice looking cross but Franjic seems unphased.
Carter connects with a body shot.
Carter misses with the combination.
Wayne Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Franjic shoots in looking for a takedown. Carter tries to sprawl out of it but Franjic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
