The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith wants to clinch. Cztery closes this distance looking for a takedown but Smith circles away. Smith misses with a two punch combination.

Cztery lands with a good body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Stanfield manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Stanfield misses with a looping right. Ja bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Stanfield's head backwards. Decent striking displayed by Ja there.
