No luck with that takedown attempt from Lothario.

McGriddle shoots in and bounces Augusto off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Augusto told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Augusto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGriddle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Vagos takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Miltoft bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vagos's head backwards.
Vagos shoots in for a double leg but Miltoft sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Miltoft misses with a straight left.
Vagos shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Horrible takedown attempt by Vagos or perhaps it was just good defense by Miltoft, which made it look bad.
Miltoft moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Ontari Vagos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miltoft throws out a loose jab but Vagos uses good head movement to avoid it.
Miltoft uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vagos.
Vagos has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Miltoft.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vagos takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Miltoft lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vagos has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vagos and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vagos connects with a nice short shot to Miltoft's temple.

Vagos is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Miltoft doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vagos.

Kneecap has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Slugger has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kneecap to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Slugger is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kneecap pulls down on the head and he's put Slugger to sleep! This one is all over!
