The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barnz clinches with his opponent.
Barnz lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jakh backwards.
Barnz throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jakhs head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Barnz .
Jakh tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Barnz lands a nice uppercut.
Barnz lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jakh backwards.
Barnz tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jakh wants to get back to striking at distance but Barnz won't allow it.
Jakh goes for a takedown attempt but Barnz pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Barnz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jakh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Barnz has managed to clinch.
Barnz lands with a short shot to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Barnz creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Jakh jumps guard and drags Barnz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Barnz lands a couple of elbows.
Barnz throws an elbow that misses. Jakh uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Barnz 's guard. Nice move by Jakh!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

I really don't envy Barnz right now.
Jakh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jakh has the hooks in. Barnz is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Jakh passes his arm under Barnz 's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Barnz taps!

Pokrajac lands a nice looking body kick.
Pokrajac lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Igor Pokrajac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jak tries to move into range but Pokrajac moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Harsh Jak has been cut.
The fighters circle, before Pokrajac throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Jak's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Pokrajac lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
