9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bret Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Toshi Suzuki! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill moves in looking to clinch but Suzuki pushes him off. A shot to de liver by Suzuki. Beautiful body shot. Suzuki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hill uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Suzuki.
Hill shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Suzuki scores with the left hand. Hill knows he should have avoided that one. Suzuki misses with an uppercut. Suzuki throws a looping overhand right but Hill ducks down to avoid it. Suzuki connects with a looping right hand.
Hill throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Hill misses with a takedown attempt - Suzuki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hill moves into range and clinches up with Suzuki. Hill breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Suzuki bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hill's head backwards. Hill changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Suzuki tries to avoid it but Hill manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Suzuki to the ground. Suzuki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nice shot by Suzuki.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill misses with a shot to the body and Suzuki makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Hill takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hill moves out of range of the strikes. A looping hook to the body misses from Suzuki. Hill does a little dance to reset his feet. Toshi Suzuki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hill takes a body punch but keeps moving. Suzuki has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Hill with a lazy takedown attempt and Suzuki counters with a nice uppercut.
Hill is rocked! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bret Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hill is breathing heavily. Hill uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Suzuki. Oh Hill is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Hill. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Suzuki misses with a straight right. Hill ducks under a wild hook from Suzuki. Hill moves out of range as Suzuki strikes. Hill uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Suzuki. Hill seems to have got his legs back now. Hill with a poor takedown and Suzuki counters with a huge left! Hill is in big trouble! He's backing up but Suzuki isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hill from any more damage. A dominating finish by Suzuki!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! CarBobble tries to close the distance and clinch but Floorman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Floorman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. CarBobble is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Floorman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Floorman misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Stoner McWeeder struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vandam swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Vandam throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh putin colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Vandam as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and putin is left battered and dazed whilst Vandam and his camp cheer!

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dignam tries to get out of the position. Dignam is staying active underneath Drabek, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Drabek content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Drabek is trying to control the action in half guard but Dignam is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Drabek is looking to advance position but Dignam won't allow it. Drabek missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Drabek throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Drabek is still on wobbly legs! Can Dignam finish him? Dignam is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Drabek hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
