Lora shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Xavier pinned against the cage. Xavier gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Xavier lands a jab to the head.
Lora's coach down at The Island Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lora's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Xavier displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lora.
Xavier was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Lora tries to move into range but Xavier moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Xavier cracks Lora with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
