Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Gary Bishoff and Kenny Jester. Bishoff's entrance music is Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healing. A fine choice. Jester has chosen The Cure - Friday I'm In Love as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 3 losses; Gary Bishoff! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Kenny Jester! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Bishoff stuffs the takedown attempt from Jester. Jester gets slowly back to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jester is defended easily by Bishoff. Jester misses with a takedown attempt - Bishoff sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Gary Bishoff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenny Jester. Jester gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bishoff counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bishoff. Bishoff has picked Jester up - he's going for a ride! The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Shibukawa closes the distance and clinches. Shibukawa jumps guard.
