The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miocic lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wilson at a distance.
Miocic ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wilson moves away. Wilson scores with a jab to the head.
Wilson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wilson lands a right hook to the body.
Wilson has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Wilson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Miocic misses with a wild body shot. Miocic fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wilson now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Miocic throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wilson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Miocic manages to avoid it. Wilson listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Wilson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Miocic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Miocic is breathing heavily. Wilson digs a good body shot into Miocic's ribs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Miocic looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Wilson connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Miocic tumbling to the canvas! Wilson pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Miocic was done - good stoppage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Master clinches with his opponent.
Master lands a body punch in the clinch. Master jumps guard and drags Diaz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Diaz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Diaz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Diaz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Master is keeping the position for now. Diaz drops back, looking for a kneebar! Master looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Master looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Master! Diaz is trying to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Master trying to control the position but Diaz is working away. Diaz wants to control but Master postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz manages to work his way to half guard, despite Master's best efforts. Diaz is not content to let Master control the position. Diaz punching from the bottom.
Diaz looking for submissions off his back. Diaz has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Diaz looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Diaz flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Master really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Diaz wants to control but Master is keeping busy and won't allow it. Diaz actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are battling for position here. Diaz manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Diaz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Master can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Master wants to stand but Diaz is controlling his posture from full guard. Diaz is working an open guard so Master takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Master looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Master swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Master has Diaz up against the cage in a clinch.
Master has clasped his hands together around Diaz's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

You can see the frustration on Diaz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Diaz is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Diaz tries to strike but it doesn't land. Diaz is trying to get back to half guard. Diaz manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Master looks like he's trying to stand up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patryk throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A jab from Hatfield does it's job there. A looping hook to the body misses from Hatfield. Patryk does a little dance to reset his feet. Patryk misses with a low kick.
Hatfield smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Patryk walks into a jab. Patryk misses with a two punch combination.
Patryk swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hatfield lands a jab. Hatfield throws out a powerful jab.

Hatfield lands a big uppercut and Patryk crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Patryk looks OK. Hatfield waves Patryk back to his feet! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Hatfield engages and cracks Patryk with a massive lead left hook - Patryk tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Hatfield is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jakono gets a takedown into half guard. Jakono throwing shots but Fisher is blocking nicely. Fisher keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jakono is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fisher sees it coming and defends easily. Fisher is concentrating on defense, preventing Jakono from advancing position. Fisher has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Area51. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Fisher has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jakono is on him like a limpet, forcing Fisher back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fisher with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Oh but he could get punished here because Fisher has locked up a guillotine! Fisher's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Jakono is holding on here and Fisher must be using up a lot of energy. Jakono has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Fisher gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ray Fisher! Ray Fisher was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Magumbo closes the distance and clinches. A quick uppercut on the inside from Magumbo. A short right hand to the side of the head by Magumbo. Magumbo working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Magumbo gets through Riggins's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Magumbo holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Magumbo is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Magumbo stops a takedown attempt from Riggins.
Riggins is trying to drag Magumbo to the mat but Magumbo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. With the fighters up against the cage, Magumbo throws an elbow but misses. Riggins on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

That's going to take a lot out of Tim Riggins. Riggins drops down looking for an ankle pick but Magumbo pulls his leg out and moves away.

Riggins looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Magumbo trying to control the position from guard on top but Riggins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Magumbo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Riggins looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
