The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rompevsky throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bruder.

It looks like Marcel Bruder has been cut.

Smith lands a big head kick that sends Nutsucker tumbling to the mat! Smith takes a step backwards and waves Nutsucker back to his feet - he wants the finish!

No luck with that takedown attempt from Grepp.
Nazarov cracks Grepp with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nazarov throws a body punch but Grepp moves out of range.
Guru Grepp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Grepp fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nazarov sprawls well initially but Grepp persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Grepp is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nazarov is just riding it out for now. Grepp eventually gives up the hold.

Grepp is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nazarov sees it coming and defends easily.
