0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thomas Jones! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira drives through with a takedown into guard. Ferreira might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ferreira wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jones will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Ferreira throws a strike but Jones rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Jones trying to control but Ferreira is working from the bottom. Jones wants to get up but he can't break Ferreira's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.  That's one minute gone in the round. Jones slips nicely into half guard. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jones not landing any meaningful shots this time. Jones throwing shots but Ferreira is blocking nicely. Ferreira avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jones.
Jones is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Jones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jones tries to stand but can't do so whilst Ferreira controls his leg. Jones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ferreira does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ferreira knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Jones missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Jones controlling the action here. Jones tries to stand but can't do so whilst Ferreira controls his leg. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferreira is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A punch combination from Ferreira misses. Jones misses with a head kick.
Ferreira throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely. Jones tries to land a leg kick but Ferreira saw it coming and moves away.

A combination from Jones does no damage. Ferreira tries to counter by clinching up but Jones breaks away and moves out of range. Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ferreira gets the takedown into side control. Ferreira is breathing heavily. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Who's going to make the next move? Jones gets back to half guard.

Ferreira stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Ferreira looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
 Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ferreira's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jones drops back looking for a leg! Ferreira is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ferreira manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Ferreira's guard. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Jones dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Ferreira to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Jones throws a wild body kick that Ferreira sees coming a mile off. Eusebio Ferreira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ferreira decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jones landing a few short strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters are battling for position here. Jones manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ferreira's guard.

Jones tries to clinch up but Ferreira circles away and keeps his distance. Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ferreira sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
Ferreira shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jones napping and manages to drive through into side control! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Jones gets back to full guard.
Jones wants to sweep but no luck. Ferreira postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ferreira working some strikes from top position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ferreira postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ferreira looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Jones slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Jones drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Jones as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Ferreira screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Jones! Nice submission victory there!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pierre Hoiberg throws a right and a left that both miss. It seemed like Hiradama was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe tries to land a front kick but Submits steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Submits throws a right and a left that Joe avoids nicely. Submits lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Submits scores with a decent looking hook.
 Joe is rocked! Submits cracks Joe with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Joe tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Submits pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Joe is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Steel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Saromenko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Steel has managed to get both his arms back between Saromenko's legs - danger averted. Saromenko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Saromenko has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Steel is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Saromenko. Saromenko prevents Steel from moving into mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Saromenko tries to buck Steel off but Steel is having none of it. Josh Steel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Vitali Saromenko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Both fighters take a look at the clock.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Vitali Saromenko. Well Saromenko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoffmann throws a nice head kick!
Hoffmann shoots in for a double leg but Jims sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jims feinted with a counter takedown. Hoffmann connects with a high kick. Jims swings and misses with a shot to the body and Hoffmann counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Jims avoids the head kick by Hoffmann.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gatlinki fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Levert looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Levert wants to clinch but Gatlinki slips to the side and Gatlinki counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Levert shoots and misses and Gatlinki counters with a straight right hand.
Levert looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gatlinki wants to stand up but Levert is controlling him. Levert throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gatlinki works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gatlinki wants to stand up but Levert is controlling him.
Gatlinki is trying to control the position here. Levert has hold of a guillotine from the top though... oh, that looks naaaaasty, will Gatlinki tap? Yes he will! The fight is all over! Levert jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd.
