The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tuck moves in looking to clinch but Dio pushes him off. Tuck takes a swing at Dio's ribcage but misses. Tuck tries to clinch up. Dio is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tuck sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Tuck seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Dio bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dio is looking for the big counter here. Tuck circles away from the clinch attempt.

Dio with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Tuck is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dio throws a strike but Tuck rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Dio is looking to take a break and control but Tuck is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dio sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Tuck is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
What's Tuck going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Tuck seems a little lost for a moment, as Dio dominates the positioning.
