1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yuran Franco! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dusmatov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've been hearing reports that Dusmatov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Dusmatov lands with an uppercut that bounces Franco off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Yuran Franco has been cut. Dusmatov lands a jab to the nose. Franco shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dusmatov defends it nicely. Franco closes the distance and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dusmatov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sloppy strikes from Dusmatov. Dusmatov drops Franco with a right and a left! Dusmatov comes rushing in but Franco regains his composure and manages to keep Dusmatov in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dusmatov stands up from Franco's guard - Dusmatov perhaps looking for a knockout. Franco gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Franco has a takedown stuffed. Dusmatov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Franco is rocked! Dusmatov plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Franco to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Franco just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chavez rushes Mckenna and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Chavez is trying to drag Mckenna to the mat but Mckenna just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Mckenna goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Chavez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mckenna walks away with a smile on his face. Chavez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Mckenna looks to land a combination but Chavez avoids it well. Chavez connects with a jab. Mckenna drives through and clinches with Chavez against the cage.

Chavez gets control of Mckenna's arms and successfully pulls guard. Chavez will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Mckenna wants to stand but Chavez has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Chavez is pulling down on Mckenna's head to control his posture. Chavez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chavez tries to get out of the position. Mckenna wants to control from the top but Chavez keeps moving.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jo presses Dutchman against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jo throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. A left hand lands to the body for Jo.

Uzo is bucking up trying to escape but Butler cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
