The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bianconi walks into a stiff left hand from Sotin.
Sotin looks to land a combination but Bianconi avoids it well.
Bianconi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sotin's head.
Sotin is looking to clinch but Bianconi is avoiding it.
Bianconi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sotin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Bianconi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bianconi postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sotin looks a forlorn figure.

Sotin tries a head kick but it misses.
Sotin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bianconi.
Bianconi swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Bianconi circles away from the clinch attempt.

Sotin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bianconi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bianconi is looking for a counter combo.
Bianconi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Evgeny Sotin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bianconi slips under a jab.
Sotin finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sotin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bianconi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sotin throws a chopping leg kick but Bianconi manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Sotin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Bianconi thuds a left hand into Sotin's body.

Sotin throws a body kick that misses.

Bianconi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sotin can do to turn this around?

Bianconi has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sotin tries to break free but Bianconi pushes him back against the cage.

Sotin is still on wobbly legs! Can Bianconi finish him?
Bianconi lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bianconi lands a good knee to the midsection. Sotin won't want to take too many of those.
Sotin is breathing heavily.

Bianconi presses Sotin against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Bianconi throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Bianconi pushes Sotin against the cage. Bianconi is working some dirty boxing. Bianconi pushes off with a quick right hook! Sotin goes down! Sotin tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Bianconi moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
