Brannigan comes to the cage accompanied by Dropkick Murphys - The warriors code. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sergei Dragonov! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brannigan pivots, looking for a leg kick but Dragonov is out of range and Brannigan settles back down. Dragonov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Brannigan finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Dragonov looks to land a body kick but Brannigan moved away. Dragonov throws a head kick that misses. Brannigan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Brannigan throws a nice outside leg kick. Dragonov keeps the fight on the outside. Dragonov wants to clinch and Brannigan counters with a low kick, right behind Dragonov 's knee. I think Moon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eels - The Mighty Boosh. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moon feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Smith's calf. Smith misses with a looping right. Smith scores with a jab. Moon acknowledges it with a nod of the head. A looping hook to the body misses from Moon. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet. Moon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Smith's hands. Moon on the wrong end of a nice jab.
 It looks like Howard Moon has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Moon throws a leg kick which misses Smith's front leg but catches the back leg as Smith tries to avoid it. Moon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Smith takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Moon scores with a jab. Moon clobbers Smith with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Smith looks gassed! Smith is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Moon.
 It looks like John Smith has been cut. Smith closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Moon connects with a body shot. Moon misses with a double jab.
A punch lands to the side of Smith 's head but he takes it in his stride. Moon connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Moon digs a good hook to Smith's body.

Howard Moon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moon sends Smith crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Moon is motioning to the referee to let Smith up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
 Smith is rocked! Moon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grey works over Blackrebel's head and body with a nice combination. Blackrebel closes the distance and clinches up with Grey, looking for a takedown. Blackrebel pushes Grey against the cage but Grey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Grey tries a head kick but it misses.
A combination from Grey does no damage. Grey misses with a wild body shot. Grey throws a shot to the body.
Blackrebel fails with a takedown attempt. Blackrebel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Viper Blackrebel. Blackrebel wants to hold on but Grey pushes him away. Grey controlling the pace for now. Blackrebel is trying to escape the mount.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Grey with good strikes from the mount here! Blackrebel can't escape the position.
Grey with a couple of short strikes. A nice elbow there by Grey. Grey lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Blackrebel hang on? Grey controlling from the full mount. Blackrebel is desperately trying to improve his position but Grey has a good base and remains in mount. Blackrebel tries to hold on but Grey postures up. Blackrebel is squirming around, avoiding Grey's attempts to control the action.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Grey with a couple of short strikes. Grey can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Blackrebel is looking to escape. Blackrebel is looking to improve his position but Grey isn't that keen on the idea. Blackrebel is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Grey controlling the pace for now. Blackrebel tries to lock up and control but Grey gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Grey swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Blackrebel is now in Grey's guard. A big mistake from Grey there, giving up the dominant position!

Blackrebel postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Grey is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Blackrebel, into his guard. Grey trying to control but Blackrebel is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Grey working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Grey throws a big right hand that misses. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Blackrebel has his takedown stuffed and Grey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A left and a right from Grey both land. Nice combination. Grey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Blackrebel.
Blackrebel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Grey did well to prevent Blackrebel getting side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grey gets back to full guard.

and Grey counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Grey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Blackrebel blocks a jab. Grey throws a series of strikes that have Blackrebel backpedaling.
Grey drops Blackrebel with a right and a left! Grey comes rushing in but Blackrebel regains his composure and manages to keep Grey in guard.
Oh Blackrebel is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Grey content to stall in guard here. Grey's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Grey content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Blackrebel seems to have got his legs back now.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Grey not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Grey postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Grey content to stall in guard here. Grey working some strikes from top position. Grey trying to control the position from guard on top but Blackrebel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blackrebel wants to control the position but Grey says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Blackrebel desperately trying to maintain half guard. Grey is trying to control the action in half guard but Blackrebel is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Blackrebel wants to control but Grey is keeping busy and won't allow it. Blackrebel regains full guard. Nicely done. Blackrebel has his hands on Grey's head, controlling the position.

Blackrebel pulls Grey in close to prevent any damage. Grey with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Blackrebel preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Grey is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Blackrebel is trying to keep Grey in close.
Grey passes Blackrebel's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Grey tries to pass to full mount but Blackrebel defends it.

Late fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Leonard. Leonard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Late.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas avoids the body shot from Stones.

Stones shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Thomas manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Thomas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Thomas is trying to control the position but Stones postures up. Damien Stones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stones being controlled here momentarily. Thomas working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stones. Thomas has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Stones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thomas swivels though and keeps the full guard.
