Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zulu will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Zulu gets in close and instigates a clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Zulu creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Zulu creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Black with a big uppercut! Black tries to clinch up but Zulu pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Black to the mat! Black covers up and Zulu unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A very excited looking Zulu Zulu rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Thorn Black was interviewed post fight and said 'How did I get this far with these skill levels?'.

Jawbreak shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Aoki sprawls well. Aoki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jawbreak gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dick Jawbreak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jawbreak shoots in looking for a takedown but Aoki manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jawbreak's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Aoki leaves Jawbreak with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Aoki working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Aoki lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Jawbreak quite badly. Jawbreak pulls Aoki in close trying to recover. Aoki postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Jawbreak on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Jawbreak doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
