 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nub throws a hook but MMA blocks it. Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign! Nub scores with the left hand. MMA knows he should have avoided that one.
 It looks like Perfect MMA has been cut.
MMA closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. MMA controlling the pace. MMA is thwarting Nub's attempts to control the position.
Nub looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Nub taking some punishment here, with MMA in his half guard. MMA scores with a couple of good hammerfists. MMA takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Nub trying to control but MMA postures up.

 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A looping hook to the body misses from Nub. MMA does a little dance to reset his feet. MMA moves in looking to clinch but Nub pushes him off. MMA uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nub. MMA takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
MMA stalks Nub and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nub's face. Nub staggers backwards, shaken. MMA lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Nub gets caught flat footed, as MMA shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. MMA wants to get up but he can't break Nub's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. MMA has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. MMA trying to control the position from guard on top but Nub is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. MMA with a nice head shot there. Nub not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shurygalo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lausch looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Shurygalo fails in his attempt to clinch. Lausch misses with a few strikes there.
Shurygalo throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lausch's head.
 It looks like Bobby Lausch has been cut. Shurygalo moves in looking to clinch but Lausch pushes him off. Lausch should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Shurygalo throws a knee to the head but misses.
Shurygalo lands a nice knee to the body. Shurygalo gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Shurygalo lands an elbow just above Lausch 's eye.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chong Li! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li works the jab nicely.
 It looks like Demein Colette has been cut. Li fails with the takedown. Colette misses with a few strikes there.
Li throws a head kick but Colette moves out of range.
Colette lands with a cross. Li shoots in for a takedown but Colette shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Colette has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Li finds it's way round the side to connect with Colette's head. Li shoots in and drives through. Colette sprawls well. Demein Colette has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chong Li. Colette scoring well with a low kick there.
A solid leg kick lands there for Colette.
Li looks gassed! Colette throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Colette throws a sloppy head kick and Li moves out of range easily. Li throws a lazy head kick and Colette counters with a flying knee. Nice. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Colette fails to land with a series of punches.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick by Li misses and Colette counters with a good low kick that Li was not able to check. Colette throws a head kick that half lands.
Colette tries a head kick but it misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Li crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Colette - the referee stops the clock and Li gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Colette. Li manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Li takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A slapping leg kick lands for Colette.
Li misses with a takedown attempt and Colette makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Li tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Colette lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Li gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Colette counters with a nice uppercut. Colette lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Colette dips to his left and cracks Li with an uppercut! Li walks forward, straight into a front kick from Colette. Colette misses with a few strikes there.
Colette throws a head kick that misses. A solid body kick from Colette. Colette bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Colette is looking to slow Li down with leg kicks. Li takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Colette misses with the combination.
Chong Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Colette feints and then cracks Li's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Li down. Li on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Li's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Li tries for a takedown but Colette circles away easily
and Colette counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Colette lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Colette comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
 Li is rocked! Colette lands a damaging elbow. Li is still on wobbly legs! Can Colette finish him? Colette has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Li - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Colette, and another! Li is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rua fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Johnson avoids it really well and circles away.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rua napping and manages to drive through into side control! Rua tries to bench press Johnson off him but Johnson keeps the position. Rua wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. You can see the frustration on Rua's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Johnson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Johnson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Johnson is working Rua over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Johnson trying to control but Rua is working from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rua is on top in guard.

 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Johnson tries to clinch but Rua is having none of it.
Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Johnson with a nice head shot there.

Rua is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Johnson defends well. Johnson works over Rua with some ground and pound from guard. Johnson lands a couple of decent looking shots. Johnson wants to control from the top but Rua keeps moving.
Rua working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Johnson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Johnson landing with the ground and pound.

 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Chase tries to clinch there but MMA circles away.
MMA shoots for a double leg takedown but Chase sprawls well. He's pushed MMA's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. John Chase has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Complete MMA. MMA avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Chase fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches MMA on the side of the head. MMA takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. That was a close round but I would say that Nate Barnes will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Barnes takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. O Callahan blocks a jab. O Callahan is looking to slow Barnes down with leg kicks. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from O Callahan in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
