Batyr feints a jab promting Pozar to slip. Batyr then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pozar slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Pozar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Batyr throws a head punch that misses.
Batyr is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Pozar is defending well for now.
Batyr gets through Pozar's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Batyr makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Batyr has clasped his hands together around Pozar's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pozar parries the strikes from Batyr easily there. Batyr is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pozar to escape.
Batyr creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Pozar sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Pozar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Batyr scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Pozar to see if he's OK.
Pozar is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Batyr is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pozar is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Batyr decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pozar to his feet.

Batyr lands a left and a right that send Pozar crashing to the mat, dazed. Batyr thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Batyr grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Pozar takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Batyr cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Raiymbek Batyr decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
