The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramsey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Ripper is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ramsey is controlling him. Ripper working a defensive guard here.
Ripper tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ripper is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ramsey wants to get back to his feet but Ripper is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ripper is in close to Ramsey's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ripper thows a big elbow that misses.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ramsey ducks under a wild hook from Ripper. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ripper throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Ripper will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

A low kick from Ripper is predictable there and Ramsey counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ripper's guard now. Ripper keeping moving, preventing Ramsey from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ripper is on top in guard.

Ripper throws a strike but Ramsey avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Ripper postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Ramsey wriggles free and stands up. Ripper moves in looking to clinch but Ramsey pushes him off. Ramsey fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Gordon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Gordon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Gordon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smith. Gordon throws a hook to the side of Smith's head but Smith sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Smith connects with a body shot. Gordon is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fight stays on the outside here - Smith looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Taite Gordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith throws a shot from downtown. Gordon moves away and avoids it. Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gordon has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gordon and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Gordon throws a nice looking combination but Smith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gordon scores with a nice strike. Smith drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Gordon has his foot on Smith's thigh. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Assassin avoids the head kick by Compton.
The fighters circling - Compton throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Assassin lands a jab to the head.
Compton jabbing away but nothing is landing. A combination from Assassin does no damage. Bert Compton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Compton throws a head kick that misses. Compton looks to land a left hand but Assassin moved out of range nicely. Compton bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Assassin's head. Compton thuds his right hand into Assassin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Assassin lands a jab-cross combination. Compton takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Assassin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Assassin slips under a jab from Compton. Compton throws a hook but Assassin avoids it easily. Assassin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Compton. Compton throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Assassin sees it coming and avoids it easily. Compton throws a hook but Assassin avoids it easily. Compton looks to score with a jab to the body but Assassin is just out of range. Compton throws a head kick but Assassin moves out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Assassin. Assassin smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Compton shoots for a takedown but Assassin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Assassin misses with the combination.
Assassin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Compton might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Assassin scores with a jab to the jaw.
Compton is rocked! Compton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Assassin.
Assassin steps into range and cracks Compton with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Compton flops backwards and Assassin dives into his guard looking to finish!
Compton is still in real trouble! Can Assassin finish him? Assassin gets to his feet and stands over Compton, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Compton felt that one! Assassin unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Compton from any more punishment!
