Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

Alves closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Colde to the mat! Colde manages to get full guard.

Good leg kick by Machino there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Machino connects with a right hand. Lius shakes it off.

It looks like Pete Lius has been cut.
Machino slaps away a takedown attempt from Lius, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Pete Lius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Machino pushes Lius away with a front kick.
Machino lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Lius changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Machino looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Machino looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Embolo lands a big right hand that sends Kromog crashing to the mat! Embolo stays standing though and waves Kromog back to his feet!

Embolo goes for a small jab and connects. Now Embolo goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Kromog stumbles back but Embolo runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Kromog to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Kromog will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
