19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Joseph! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joseph lands with a nice body kick. Raginis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Joseph circles away quickly and effectively. Joseph is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Raginis with a body shot. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Raginis. Joseph connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Raginis throws a jab but it's blocked by Joseph. Joseph let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Joseph keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Raginis cracks Joseph with an open hand slap. Joseph lands with a straight right. Raginis didn't see that one coming. Raginis takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. A good leg kick by Raginis. Raginis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Joseph was covering up waiting for the punch and Raginis finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Joseph is pulling down on Raginis's head. It's preventing any offense from Raginis, at least for the moment. Raginis throwing strikes but missing.

Joseph seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Joseph lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Raginis looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Joseph is stalling in the full guard. Joseph avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Joseph takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Raginis is refusing to be controlled, as Joseph sits in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Raginis is trying to control but can't.
Raginis is looking for a sweep. Joseph is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Raginis makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Raginis. Raginis wants to improve his position but instead Joseph has moved into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Raginis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Joseph sitting and controlling from the half guard. Joseph trying to control the action but Raginis is working from the bottom. Raginis wants to improve his position but Joseph is controlling well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Joseph slips a nice elbow through Raginis's hands, connecting with Raginis's forehead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Barakat tries to land knees in the clinch but Santos avoids the damage to the body. It looks like Ren Naga-Wing has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Serderov tries to clinch up but Naga-Wing circles away and keeps his distance. Naga-Wing pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Serderov misses with an attempted mid kick.

Serderov fails in his attempt to clinch. A nice side step and Naga-Wing releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Naga-Wing motions for Serderov to come forward. Naga-Wing throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Naga-Wing fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Serderov forces Naga-Wing back against the cage and clinches. Naga-Wing manages to break the clinch.
Serderov tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Naga-Wing is able to avoid easily. Naga-Wing throws out a counter right but Serderov avoids it with no problem. A shot to the body from Serderov misses and Naga-Wing counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Naga-Wing lands the left hand. Good leg kick by Serderov there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Naga-Wing working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Naga-Wing keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Serderov's head. Naga-Wing is working Serderov over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Serderov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Naga-Wing is controlling him. Naga-Wing trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Naga-Wing accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Naga-Wing prevents Serderov from getting back to his feet. Naga-Wing loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Naga-Wing won't allow Serderov to get back to his feet. Serderov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Naga-Wing has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Naga-Wing trying to control the position from guard on top but Serderov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Serderov kicks Naga-Wing off and gets to his feet. Serder Serderov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Naga-Wing blocks a head kick by Serderov.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A decent looking body kick lands there for Serderov. Serderov throws a sloppy head kick and Naga-Wing moves out of range easily. A punch lands to the side of Naga-Wing 's head but he takes it in his stride. Serderov tries to clinch up but Naga-Wing circles away and keeps his distance. Serderov fails with an attempt to clinch.

Serderov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Crunch! Serderov slams his shin into Naga-Wing's torso. Sloppy strikes from Serderov. Those never looked like landing. Serderov moves out of range as Naga-Wing strikes. Serderov closes the distance and clinches. Naga-Wing has had enough of the clinch but Serderov keeps him there for the moment. Serderov manages to break the clinch.
Some bone on bone action there as Naga-Wing checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Naga-Wing scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Serderov throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Naga-Wing scores with a punch to the head. Serderov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Naga-Wing swats him away and circles back towards the center. Naga-Wing keeps the fight on the outside. Serderov fails to land with a series of punches.
Serderov rushes Naga-Wing and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Naga-Wing is trying to break free. A short left from Naga-Wing. Naga-Wing pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Serder Serderov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Serderov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Serderov wants to slow Naga-Wing down by chopping away at his legs. Serderov on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Serderov tries to clinch there but Naga-Wing circles away.
Naga-Wing is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Serderov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Naga-Wing swats him away and circles back towards the center. Serderov slips under a jab from Naga-Wing. Serderov drives through and clinches with Naga-Wing against the cage.
Naga-Wing breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That was a close round but I would say that Serder Serderov will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ren Naga-Wing's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Naga-Wing checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Naga-Wing throws a leg kick but Serderov moved away. It looked like Serderov wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A slow jab from Naga-Wing misses its intended target. Naga-Wing looks to land a left hand but Serderov moved out of range nicely. Serderov tries to clinch but fails miserably and Naga-Wing counters with a stiff right hand. Naga-Wing dodges the punch combination from Serderov.
Naga-Wing comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Naga-Wing misses with a body shot.

Naga-Wing connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Naga-Wing looks to score with a jab to the body but Serderov is just out of range. Serderov has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Naga-Wing finds it's way round the side to connect with Serderov's head. Naga-Wing waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Serderov. Naga-Wing takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Serderov throws a leg kick which misses Naga-Wing's front leg but catches the back leg as Naga-Wing tries to avoid it. Serderov attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Naga-Wing throws a leg kick which misses Serderov's front leg but catches the back leg as Serderov tries to avoid it. Naga-Wing moves out of range of the body kick from Serderov.
Naga-Wing is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Serderov. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Serderov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Serderov stalks Naga-Wing and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Naga-Wing's face. Naga-Wing staggers backwards, shaken. Naga-Wing misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Serderov.
Serder Serderov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Serderov throws a sloppy head kick and Naga-Wing moves out of range easily. Serderov wants to clinch up but Naga-Wing keeps it at a distance. Naga-Wing listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Naga-Wing shoots in looking for a takedown but Serderov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Naga-Wing's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Serderov went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Serderov throws out a loose jab but Naga-Wing uses good head movement to avoid it. Naga-Wing gets tackled into the cage by Serderov. Serderov maintains the clinch. Naga-Wing breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Serderov was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Naga-Wing throws a hook to the side of Serderov's head but Serderov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Naga-Wing! Serderov is out on his feet! Naga-Wing rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Serderov is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Serderov is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Bateman's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Huey Lewis and The News - Hip To Be Square. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Tigh lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bateman doesn't seem phased though. A big right from Tigh misses. A jab from Tigh finds it's way through Bateman's defenses. Bateman throws an overhand right that lands on Tigh's shoulder, as Tigh tries to avoid the shot. Tigh scores with a hook to the body. Bateman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Tigh lands with a cross. Tigh has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Tigh throws a shot from downtown. Bateman moves away and avoids it. Tigh lands with an uppercut that bounces Bateman off the cage and back into range. Tigh misses with a hook. Tigh wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Tigh throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Bateman looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Tigh finish him?
Bateman is rocked! Tigh cracks Bateman with a hook to the temple - Bateman is on wobbly legs here! Tigh swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Bateman falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Tigh wins by TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Putin throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Lucas Bane has been cut. Jab, jab by Bane - just one landing. Bane misses with a body kick. Putin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Bane takes a body punch but keeps moving. Bane drops Putin with a beautiful combination! Putin stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bane is looking for the KO!
It looks like Beast Putin has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bane tries to close the distance and clinch up but Putin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Putin let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. A leg kick checked by Bane. Bane has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mello MMA in the buildup to the fight. Bane slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Bane lands an overhand right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weight jabs Perkele to the body, keeping him at a distance. Perkele walks into a straight right hand from Weight. Perkele swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Perkele looks to score with a jab to the body but Weight is just out of range. We've been told by Perkele's head coaches at Wild Card that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
