Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chabre Dabre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stacin Clark! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dabre scores with a jab. Clark acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Clark moves to clinch but Dabre breaks away and Dabre counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Stacin Clark has been cut. Clark closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dabre did well to prevent Clark getting side control. Still in half guard, Clark seems content to control. Dabre is trying to stand back up but Clark is controlling him
Clark wants to control but Dabre is keeping him busy. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Clark in particular looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clark stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Dabre blocks a jab. Dabre throws a body shot but no joy. We've been informed that Clark has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dabre as he avoids it easily. Dabre is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Dabre rushes Clark and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Clark blocks a body shot from Dabre. Clark breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dabre forces Clark back against the cage and clinches. Clark blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Clark breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Clark misses with an uppercut. Dabre saw that one coming. Dabre connects with a body shot that sends Clark's belly button to the back. Clark rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dabre counters with a nice uppercut. No luck for Clark with that takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dabre scores with a crisp jab that stopped Clark in his tracks. Clark showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dabre.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dabre leaves Clark with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Chabre Dabre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stacin Clark. Dabre will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dabre moves to clinch but Clark breaks away and Dabre takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark doesn't manage to clinch there - Dabre circles away.
Dabre lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Chabre Dabre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dabre stuns Clark with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Dabre takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nice straight punches there by Dabre. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dabre. Clark takes a body punch but keeps moving. It looks like Dabre has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Dabre is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Clark walks into a stiff left hand from Dabre. The fight moves into the clinch position. Clark breaks the clinch.
Dabre tries to clinch but Clark moves away letting Clark counter with a right hand. Dabre has Clark up against the cage in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Clark goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dabre prevents it.
Dabre fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Dabre throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Clarks head. Dabre lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Clark backwards. Clark is trying to break the clinch but Dabre is controlling him. Dabre prevents Clark from breaking the clinch. Clark escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice uppercut lands for Dabre. That snapped Clark's head back.
Dabre circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dabre throwing a counter right hand but Clark manages to avoid it. Clark gets tackled into the cage by Dabre. Dabre maintains the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chabre Dabre dominated that round. The cut man is working on Stacin Clark's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Clark is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dabre. Dabre is looking for a counter combo. Clark will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dabre swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A swing and a miss from Clark. Clark takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Stacin Clark is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dabre connects with the punch.
Clark is rocked! Dabre weaves into range and cracks Clark right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Clark goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Dabre is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inami shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pernadez napping and manages to drive through into side control! Inami has knee on belly and moves into mount. Pernadez is looking to improve his position but Inami isn't that keen on the idea. Pernadez is bucking up trying to escape but Inami cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Inami fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Pernadez regains half guard. Pernadez moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pernadez looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Inami drops back looking for a leg! Pernadez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pernadez manages to kick Inami off! Inami jumps back into Pernadez's guard. Inami content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Inami has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Inami drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Inami jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Inami showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Pernadez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Inami has gone for a leg lock! Pernadez slips out almost immediately though and dives into Inami 's guard.

Inami seems keen to control Pernadez's posture. Pernadez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pernadez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pernadez is fighting to break Inami 's control of his arms but Inami is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Inami on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Inami tries to get out of the position. Pernadez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pernadez pushing down on Inami 's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Inami is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Inami is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pernadez pulls his head out easily. Pernadez is looking to take a break and control but Inami is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Inami tries to get to full guard but Pernadez has control of the leg. Pernadez wants to work for an arm triangle but Inami is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Inami looking for submissions off his back. Pernadez is keen to just control but Inami is a slippery customer. Inami looks like he's trying to stand up.
Pernadez wants to take a breather but Inami is having none of it. Inami actively working from the bottom here. Inami trying to control but Pernadez postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Inami actively working from the bottom here. Inami is staying active underneath Pernadez, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Inami looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sonjo Inami will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Pernadez avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sonjo Inami overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Inami postures up.
Pernadez is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Inami frees his head nicely. Oh but Pernadez has switched to an armbar! Inami is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leonard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Samaritan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leonard somewhat. Samaritan changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Murphy Leonard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Leonard has managed to clinch.

Samaritan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Samaritan pulls guard effortlessly. Leonard trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Leonard wants to control from the top but Samaritan keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Samaritan has his foot on Leonard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Leonard works his way back into a safe position though. Samaritan throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Leonard gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Samaritan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Leonard lets go of the hold and Samaritan can pop his arm back in it's socket.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nexhip darts in looking for a takedown but Harrington gets double underhooks and turns Nexhip into the cage. Harrington ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Nexhip misses with a body shot
and Harrington counters with a nice body shot. Nexhip closes the distance but Harrington moves to the side and Harrington counters with a left to the body. Harrington seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Nexhip misses with a hook. Harrington ducked under it nicely. Nexhip moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Harrington digs a good hook to Nexhip's body.
Harrington slaps away a takedown attempt from Nexhip, before circling back to the center of the mat. No luck for Nexhip with that takedown attempt. Knox Harrington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pernar Nexhip. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harrington lands with a nice body punch. Harrington scores with a jab to the body. Harrington works Nexhip's body with a nice hook. Harrington connects with a nice looking jab.
A shot to the liver by Harrington. Beautiful body shot. Nexhip takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Jab from Harrington. Harrington's corner calls for a 1-2. Harrington obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Harrington with a nice cross. Nexhip's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Harrington connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nexhip scrambles back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nexhip with a lazy takedown attempt and Harrington counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Harrington lands a nice looking body shot.
Harrington stalks Nexhip and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nexhip's face. Nexhip staggers backwards, shaken.
Nexhip is rocked! Harrington fakes the body blow, causing Nexhip to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Nexhip goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Knox Harrington! An out of breath Knox Harrington thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murdock gets a clinch. Murdock tries to throw a body punch but Jo avoids it by throwing Murdock back against the cage. Murdock has had enough of the clinch but Jo keeps him there for the moment. Jo blocks an uppercut.
Jo lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Murdock backwards. Jo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Murdock's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Jo taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Murdock misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jo lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Jo. Jo leaning his opponent against the cage. Jo continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Jo lands a left hand.

A left hand lands to the body for Jo.
Murdock lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jo backwards. Murdock has had enough of the clinch but Jo keeps him there for the moment. A nice right hand lands inside from Jo. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jo stalling the fight.

Murdock is breathing heavily. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Jo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Murdock moves out of range as Jo throws a body kick.
Jo scores with a jab. Jo dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jo drops Murdock with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Murdock looks back up at him and smiles so Jo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Porto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Push was well out of range. Poor timing from Porto. A big right from Porto misses. Push gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Porto counters with a nice uppercut. Push changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Porto tries to avoid it but Push manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Porto to the ground. Porto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mafaking needs to keep his hands up - Lyagushov had a free shot at his head there. Lyagushov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Mafaking pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mafaking lands with a right hand. Lyagushov misses with a wild body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Mafaking. Lyagushov does a little dance to reset his feet. A jab from Lyagushov misses. Lyagushov throws an off balance right hand
letting Mafaking counter with a right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mafaking throws a hook to the side of Lyagushov's head but Lyagushov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lyagushov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mafaking manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Mafaking working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lyagushov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lyagushov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lyagushov chips away with some ground and pound. Lyagushov with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Lyagushov distracts Mafaking with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Lyagushov connects with a couple of short punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mafaking looking for a sweep. Not yet Mafaking, not yet. Mafaking on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mafaking tries to get out of the position. Lyagushov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mafaking works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lyagushov wants to control from the top but Mafaking keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lyagushov is posturing up here but Mafaking has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Lyagushov tries to roll out but it's too tight and Lyagushov has to tap! Slick submission there by Mafaking!

After winning the bout, Bruce Mafaking thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amir Abdallah (ranked 2238 p4p, 270 weight class) and Heavy Weight (ranked 635 p4p, 73 weight class). Heavy Weight told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Heavy Weight! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weight slips under a jab from Abdallah. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Weight! But no joy. Abdallah keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Weight. Weight scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Abdallah slips a jab from Weight. Weight wants to clinch up but Abdallah keeps it at a distance. Weight with a body punch. A glancing blow. Weight is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Abdallah. Abdallah jabbing away but nothing is landing. Abdallah dodges the punch combination from Weight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weight pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Abdallah moves out of range of the strikes. Weight rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Abdallah counters with a straight right hand. Weight wants to clinch up but Abdallah keeps it at a distance. Abdallah was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weight clobbers Abdallah with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Weight rushes Abdallah and presses him up against the cage. Abdallah lands a body shot in the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Weight. Abdallah lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Abdallah manages to break the clinch.
Weight throws a jab when Abdallah was well out of range. Abdallah swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Weight scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Abdallah doesn't seem bothered though. Weight has taken the fight to the clinch.

Abdallah wants to get back to striking at distance but Weight won't allow it.

Abdallah has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Abdallah pushes Weight back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Weight misses with a body punch.

Weight throws a jab when Abdallah was well out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abdallah misses with an uppercut. Weight saw that one coming. Weight slips a straight right by Abdallah. Weight appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Weight swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Abdallah counters with a lovely straight right hand! Weight lands a nice shot that snaps Abdallah's head back.
Weight has closed the distance and engaged Abdallah in a clinch.
Weight lands a left hand that snaps the head of Abdallah backwards. Weight working some nice short punches in the clinch. Abdallah wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Weight lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Weight prevents Abdallah from breaking the clinch. Weight tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Abdallah pushes Weight back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Weight misses with a hook from the clinch. Abdallah tries to circle away but Weight has him pinned against the cage.

Abdallah breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

enabling Abdallah to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Heavy Weight has been cut. Abdallah fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Weight manages to avoid it. Weight tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Abdallah manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Abdallah moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Weight throws a shot from downtown. Abdallah moves away and avoids it. Weight keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Weight might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Abdallah connects with a jab. Weight works the jab nicely.
Abdallah is rocked! Weight lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Abdallah up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Weight from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Abdallah's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Heavy Weight! Heavy Weight retains his heavyweight title! A victorious Heavy Weight thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
