The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawrence throws a jab but it's blocked by Jiggles. Jiggles tries to clinch but Lawrence moves out of range. Jiggles is looking to clinch but Lawrence is avoiding it.
Lance Lawrence seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lawrence throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lawrence shoots in for a takedown but Jiggles shows good takedown defense. The fight moves into the clinch position. A nice glancing elbow lands by Jiggles. Jiggles throws an elbow that misses.
Lawrence blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! bullwinkle gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. bullwinkle is looking for a triangle but Power pushes his legs off easily.
Power is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. bullwinkle looking for a guillotine here but Power defends easily.

Power wants to control from the top but bullwinkle keeps moving. Power not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. bullwinkle looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Power lands a couple of elbows. Power wanted to stand there but bullwinkle had control of the position. bullwinkle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Power scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Power is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt bullwinkle will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Power working away. Power working the ground and pound. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Power working the head and body with strikes. Power trying to control the action but bullwinkle is working from the bottom. Power content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Power can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Power is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. bullwinkle isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Power stacks bullwinkle on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Power! Power working away.

Power with good strikes from the mount here! Power lands a big shot there that rocks bullwinkle but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Power postures up.

Evans gets a takedown into half guard. Evans scoring with strikes to the body and head. Evans tries to stand but can't do so whilst Pilsgaard controls his leg. Pilsgaard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Evans prevents a takedown attempt there.

Evans wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pilsgaard keeps working. Evans cracks Pilsgaard with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Bushbe lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. A right-left combo lands from Bushbe. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bushbe. Bushbe dodges the punch combination from Pi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lumsden shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Eriksson defends it nicely. Lumsden moves in looking to clinch but Eriksson pushes him off. Lumsden fails with the takedown. Lumsden misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Magnus Eriksson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of AJ Lumsden. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Eriksson!
It looks like AJ Lumsden has been cut. Lumsden shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Eriksson sprawls well. Eriksson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lumsden looking to hit a scissor sweep but Eriksson is one step ahead there. Eriksson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Lumsden scrambles and gets back to his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Eriksson with a poor takedown and Lumsden counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lumsden. Eriksson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lumsden tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Eriksson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lumsden has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lumsden wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Lumsden has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Eriksson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Lumsden wants to control but Eriksson is keeping busy. Eriksson trying to control the position but Lumsden manages to sink in the hooks. Eriksson defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Lumsden's arms. Lumsden is breathing heavily. Lumsden somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.

You can see the frustration on Eriksson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Eriksson tries to score a body lock takedown but Lumsden shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Eriksson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lumsden gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Eriksson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lumsden is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Eriksson to the mat. Eriksson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Eriksson controls Lumsden momentarily but Lumsden frees himself. Eriksson working for a triangle but Lumsden defends it easily.

Lumsden trying to control the position from guard on top but Eriksson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lumsden prevents Eriksson from getting back to his feet. Eriksson keeping moving, preventing Lumsden from controlling successfully. Eriksson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lumsden is controlling him. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lumsden tries to clinch but fails miserably and Eriksson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lumsden's guard now. Lumsden working a defensive guard but Eriksson passes into half guard.
Lumsden is not content to let Eriksson control the position. Eriksson working over Lumsden with some ground and pound. Lumsden looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Lumsden has hold of Eriksson's hands but Eriksson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Lumsden avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Eriksson. That was a close second round but I would say that Magnus Eriksson will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on AJ Lumsden's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
