The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Saunders misses

and Teller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Teller slips nicely into half guard.
Teller lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Saunders keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Saunders is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Saunders trying to hold on to Teller's head to control him but Teller postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saunders is looking to get back to is feet but Teller passes into side control.
Teller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Teller fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Saunders is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Saunders is in all sorts of trouble here.
Teller lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Teller lands with some strikes.
The referee warns Saunders that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Saunders wants to hold on but Teller pushes him away.
Saunders is bucking up trying to escape but Teller cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Saunders takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Saunders really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Teller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Teller! Saunders is hurt baaadly! Teller is firing away with more strikes - Saunders is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
