Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shin Murakami (ranked 19041 p4p, 932 weight class) and Bob Truck (ranked 20787 p4p, 908 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bob Truck was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murakami fails in his attempt to clinch.
Murakami shoots in looking for a takedown. Truck tries to sprawl out of it but Murakami keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Truck manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bob Truck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Truck misses with a series of wild punches.

Truck feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Murakamis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Truck's coach down at Blackscar Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Truck's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Truck feints a jab promting Murakami to slip. Truck then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Murakami slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Murakami throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dmitry Putin.

Well Shojo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Cranial lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but John circles away quickly and effectively.

Cranial takes one on the chin but seems OK.
